320 kbps songs are supposed to be 2nd best (1st being .flac) right? but right now i've just been playing them on my stock windows media player. Should I download a better music player to play my music on? Maybe one that has an equalizer?
I'm using my HP Envy and it has beats audio built into it and it's own equalizer but i was just curious if the player made any difference.

What are you using to actually listen to the music? You are not going to hear a difference on cheap headphones or laptop speakers.
I used to use Jet Audio player when I used to listen to PC audio a lot.
No real idea what is the best right now thoughrumpler of stiltskins

The player most likely won't make a difference but the output driver will. Windows media player uses the stock windows driver.
With things like foobar and winamp you can run additional ones.
Installing one of those players and using ASIO drivers will give you better sounding music.
I also wouldn't call 320Kbps 2nd best, you are better going off with V0 rips, same quality but less space used.
