Just got off the phone with the associate producer of the show. Loves my story, made sure they'd have a good 3-4 months to film before I ship out for the Marine Corps. Got a phone conference tomorrow at 4:30 to discuss the details and sh*t like that.

Dunno whether to be excited or embarrassed. Or both. Definitely going into hardcore fat loss mode right now. Wanna look good if I'm gonna be on TV.

update (1/19/11):
Just got off the phone with them, had a great conversation. Have another phone conference with the senior producer on monday. sh*t is looking good. they have to do a background check on me, make sure i'm not a criminal and whatnot. so the process is definitely moving along nicely. they said my story is going to be great for TV, the fact that I have a deadline coming up with the Marine Corps where I have to make amends by a certain date, the fact that I go to a 24/7 gym is perfect, the fact that there was a little bit of conflict early on in my life with an eating disorder which led to this gym obsession. all in all, i'm pretty excited about this. they said as long as i check out and i have no criminal record or anything (which i don't) then filming will start very soon and that we'll work out all the details in the next phone conference as far as releases and stuff like that.

update 2 (1/19/11):
working this out with another miscer...

another miscer is gonna be curling in the squat rack when i need to use it.
i'm gonna go up to him and the conversation will be as follows:

me: bro, i need to use the squat rack. u srs?
miscer: u mad?
me: *bert stare*
