    Where to go from Rippetoes?

    So i want to stop the routine as im stalling too much now and getting a bit fed up of it.
    Current lifts for 3x5 good form are:

    Bench: 176lb
    Squat: 280.5lb
    Deads (1x5) 275lb
    Bent over row: 154lb
    Military press: 121lb.

    The thing is, my lifts have improved nicely but visually i dont look much different, i just look like ive put on fat really. But i did start with a highish bf% anyway.
    So where do i go from here? Are these stats a good enough base to do some kind of split for hypertrophy?

    This X infinity. I dont think anyone who is moving to texas method would be squatting > deading.

    To be fair its about the same weight, i havnt attempted 275 on deads yet but im 99% sure i can. Strained by back though so i dont go too heavy

    First of all, I bet you can get at least another 20-30lbs on your lifts... BUT, your lifts aren't horrible, I'm just saying you definitely could add some more IMO.

    From here, I'd say you can go on 5x5, and do it on a cut if you want.
    5x5 IMO in the best program while on a cut, and it works, you'll add some extra weight to your lifts.
    After then, you can probably do something like GVT, and really shock your muscles after doing low volume programs like SS/5x5, moving on to high volume.
