Hey, I'm new here and posting my nutrition log to keep me motivated. I have type 1 diabetes and I'm doing this to lower my blood sugars and eat healthier. I've been to the hospital for bad diabetes care and trying to fix it. I also appreciate any criticisms. I'm not sure if I'm eating enough fat on this diet for example.
I'm not sure what my basic calorie maintenance is. I'll try to post pics of what I look like before this started once I have access to that.
Goals:
I'm trying to lose weight, maybe down to 135-1450bs. After that I'm gonna try to lift and bulk. From what I've read in the forums, you shouldn't try to lose weight and gain muscle at the same time so I haven't started lifting weights yet. I'm just doing some cardio activities such as basketball, bicycling, and the eliptical machine.

I'll start putting pictures of my meals in to keep things more interesting and I have beginning body pics too that I'll post but I have to reach a certain post count first.
If you look at the results you notice I eat almost all day. That'll change up a bit once college classes start wednesday, January 11th though.

Looking at this, I definitly need to eat less carbs, I went crazy on oatmeal total, especially at night. It is better than going out to eat candy or something though, so I'm glad I ate extra food that was at least healthy.
