    What Do You Guys Think About My Upper body/lower body Split

    Gonna follow it until April and then cut.

    Mon: Pull

    Deadlift: 5x5
    BB Row: 4x6
    Hammer Curls: 4x6

    Tues: Lower Body

    Squats: 5x5
    SLDL: 5x5
    Calve Raises: 3x12

    Wed: Rest

    Thurs: Push

    Incline Bench Press:5x5
    DB Press: 5x5
    CGBP: 4x6

    Fri: Lower Body

    DB Lunges: 4x6

    looks solid actually, I'm make your lower body days the same though, or you can target hammies/calves all out in one, and quads/calves all out in the other

    5x5 deadlifts is a sh!tload of volume, keep in mind that on your old routine you did 1x5 deadlifts once a week.

    I understand that this may not have occured to you, but 1 set of chest done 3x per week is the same amount of volume as 3 sets of chest done 1x per week. The body might respond differently to each but it is still the same amount of volume.

    Same thing with OHP, Bench, Deadlift and Power clean but once/twice a week?

    Yes, more frequency is better.

    However, in a routine that lacks frequency, the volume MUST be increased to compensate as much as possible, even though it still won't be as optimal.

    That's not necessarily what I'm saying here but yes I do like training lifts more than 1x per week.

    Yeah more practice doing the actual lift. You don't need to go heavy every time to get stronger at something, most of what "strength" actually is is your body becoming more neurologically efficient at performing the movement.

    You might want to add a little isolation for the BPs that DDon mentioned. Maybe some Lat Pulldowns, DB side raises, etc. Nothing major though.
