Watched Couple's Retreat with the Wife this weekend. Decent comedy that both Men and Women will find tolerable. Was a scene with a built yoga instructor working with the couples that had me and the wife just ROLLING. Has Vince Vaughn in it and I've never really understood this guy's appeal but he delivers the best Bert stare I've ever seen in this flick. Ending was happy crappy, but if you wanna connect with your SO this is a good choice, some laughs and a few relationship insights.

Sucker Punch was good. Not 300 good but it was definitely an enjoyable movie. The special effects were beautiful but at some point you can go over the top with green screen stuff.
I'm gonna have to hunt down the soundtrack (which was one of the best parts of the movie) for its version of White Rabbit.

"Do you think SHE actually felt like that was a sexual thing he was doing? She's like 6. Only an actual p3do would think that she thought he was groping her, too."
"Not that it's impossible to touch a minor inappropriately, but it is true that a 6 year old girl will not recognize someone putting a hand on their chest as groping, whether it is inappropriate or not."

Limitless is a flick worth seeing - 90 minutes and cuts right to it. Within 10 minutes of the movie its got you pulled in and thinking. Very very good movie.....worth seeing twice
chuck and larry - funny
Enron: The smartest guys in the room - decent documentary on the Enron scandal - if you're into that kind of stuff really interesting, if not you should pass
Inside Job - really good documentary on the whole mortgage crisis. Has its funny parts and HIGHLY informative. Like the enron documentary but more intriguing since its more fresh to all.

Just watched Black Swan with the wife last night.. I had no idea what the movie was about. My wife said I'd like it. It was a very good softcore porn! Decent movie the woman is very disturbed, hard to tell whats real and fantasy throughout.

Splice - Fucking horrible. Predictable, incestuous, "Oh, I didn't know...", typical "surprise" ending, mediocre special effects, more predictability in the sensuous-ugly-monster-thing-who-still-turns-us-on-because-she-undulates, no suspense...
Salt - Another predictable movie in its telegraphed plot twists. Still, not a bad way to spend a couple of hours curled up with a loved one. Perfect movie if you don't feel like thinking.
The Imginarium of Doctor Parnassus - Nothing short of brilliant...typical Terry Gilliam-stunning visuals, good story, interesting characters, saw the ending coming but not in the way it happened...highly recommended"Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1
Also, taxation is theft.

Watched "I am Number 4" as well as "The Mechanic" the other night. Enjoyed both of them quite a bit. 4 was a bit slow at times, think it tried to be too much like Twilight with the high school crap. But the last 30 minutes really saved this movie, especially the character #6 was a hot badass blonde with some fantastic moves. Hope they make a sequel.
The Mechanic was a remake of the Charles Bronson film from the 70's. Stars Jason Statham and he is good in the role. It follows the original fairly well but isn't a driect copy, plenty of original scenes and is fairly bloody as well.

Rented "Drive Angry" and "Faster" yesterday. Faster was meh just ok, a few decent action scenes but very predictable and Dwayne Johnson aka "The Rock" didn't really add anything to the movie.
Drive Angry was as usual a strange Nicholas Cage flick, cheesy as hell but there were some original stunts I have never seen in any other movie. Plus there were quite a few one liners that were funny. The guy who played what I am going to call basically the devils sidekick went by the name "The Accountant" and he was great, made the entire movie. Without him it would have sucked which is hard for a movie starring Amber Heard...hot bi-sexual blonde

Ah...Wikipedia, a person's best friend.
Drive Angry was cheesy, yeah, but it had a lot of nice touches. The end scene was good, and William Fichtner was excellent as The Accountant. Good action and decent CGI but by no means the best.
Pirates of the Caribbean 4 was a lot of fun. My wife and I saw it in 3D--got a headache though; those damn glasses! I swear, when Green Lantern comes out the 2D will be sufficient for me. Not worth paying about twenty dollars for a movie just to get a headache while viewing it."Don't call me Miss Kitty. Just...don't."--Catnip. Check out the Catnip Trilogy on Amazon.com
"Chivalry isn't dead. It just wears a skirt."--Twisted, the YA gender bender deal of the century!

The Fighter
Overall I liked this movie. I set up a little system where I watch movies while doing cardio so I watched it in 3 parts.
This is a predictable boxing flick with the predictable ups and downs, decent ring scenes. I like Marky Mark but Christian Bale stole the show, outstanding character acting. In fact all the supporting cast was outstanding. The language was horrible, not kid friendly at all.
I like the story and it's based on real life, and since I grew up with Rocky I have no problems with predictable boxing movies at all.
This is no Cinderella Man but a decent way to waste 1 & 1/2 hours.Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.
