Howdy weed hoppers....
Saw one last night called "Xtreme"....it's 2021.
He was betrayed and his son was killed....I'm sure you get (vengeance) picture.
I would describe it as a bit of Kean Reeves/John Wick (lots of gun play on bad mo'fers) and Tony Jaa/The Protector (kicking mo'fers asses).
I forget his name but he did a good job and and it was an entertaining 1.5+ hours.
Oh....I also saw "Nobody" with Bob Odenkirk.
Similar to "Xtreme"
Not as much physical azz kicking action but still an enjoyable watch.
So....if one does like the gg/bg genre I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both of them.
Have a great evening everyone.USMC: 1965-1969

I think the most amazing part of this review will be that someone actually fixed the search feature so I could see no one has reviewed it yet. Per OP (me) kindly search the thread for the movie you are reviewing and bump a review to add your comments so we have a community of opinions. This is important because some of us have similar tastes, for example everything Sy reocomends, I like. Saves me like 20 minutes when selecting a flick.
At any rate, I was eating a slice of pizza and people were talking about the movie loudly and laughing, I turned it on and it was slow and irritating at first but it pretty quickly delivered some action and drama. I watched it all the way through, when my my Wife got home from work we watched it straight through again and she laughed and cried. No machine guns or helicopters on skyscrapers but a good watch.Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

I'm back on the A-List with AMC. Not a ton of movies to go see.
Went to Fast 9. Just keeps getting more and more ridiculous, but yet I enjoyed it. 6/10
The parts I enjoyed - I can't really go into detail without ruining it. But there's some surprises for sure.★★★ A State of Trance Crew ★★★

LOL. For 4-5 weeks each summer, our church has a sermon series called "At The Movies" where they'll play extended excerpts of a movie and then between excerpts weave truths of the bible and last weekend this was the movie. With the streaming services that we have, I didn't have the choice to rent it so I bought if for $13.99 and I WASN'T DISAPPOINTED!!! Great movie.
Shia Lebeouf is a great, albeit eccentric, actor. If you watch the PBFalcon movie again, you'll see a scar on his right cheek. This is from his character in Fury where he purposefully mutilated his face instead of relying on make-up to give his character some realismPull-Up PR: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=177233951

We went to the mall and took a break to watch Fast 9.
3.5 stars because it had an ok storyline with a concentration on family but the stunts were just too corny this time around.
I found myself saying, oh come on, no way that could happen. There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

I just finished it after trying it for 3 nights. I'm a huge sci fi fan and especially love it when they weave in time travel.
This was just an expensive mess. The concept of commanding forces in real time from the past is interesting but they never explained how it was possible. The aliens were like every other alien in film history complete with Spock's green blood from 1968. I don't know who Chris Pratt is and I had to ask my Wife if he is good looking, she said he was OK. His acting didn't do much for me.
Now the story itself, if I had read it in a book, would be really engaging, even though it stole so much from other movies and books.
CGI is a mess, acting is lackluster, I wasn't expecting much and that's what I got.Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

Opening day for Black Widow so took my wife to see it for our 24th anniversary, we both enjoyed it quite a bit. Gives the back story on how she came to be and answered a few questions that Marvel fans have had.

I like Nicolas Gauge, my Wife does not. I watched Leaving Las Vegas yesterday and it was just terrible. Depressing. You do get to see the Karate Kid girl's hooters nude but she should have saved that for another flick.
Blood Red Sky
Netflix.
This plot has never been done in any book or movie, I think when Stephen King sees it he will be like WTF. I was like WTF.
I don't want to say any details about it because it's so unique, I hated it but watched the whole thing.Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

The Suicide Squad, watched it in the theater and I tell you HBO max is killing the box office. Anyhoo much like the previous version I enjoyed the movie up till the end, in the previous movie I felt Enchantress and her weak sauce brother were a letdown because they were ethereal creatures yet were easily dispatched. In this one the beginning is quite shocking with a lot of big name stars getting wacked very early in the film and the plot is decent but once again the "bad guys" are easily dispatched and the ultimate monster at the end is just flat out asinine and stupid. Very enjoyable up to that lame part.

SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS, excellent movie that is another part of the entire Marvel movie setup and this one ties up a loose end from 2013's Ironman 3 which was great. The final battle gets a bit busy but thats a staple of every single Marvel movie so far. I didn't have the highest expectations of this and came away highly impressed.

once upon a time in Hollywood
Movie about movie-making crowd, in which actors, while playing actors, are watching movies with actors in it. I managed about hour and a bit into the story, not sure if it is worth finishing. Will it pick up with any meaningful story line? I expected something more of Tarantino from Tarantino’s movie.

Howdy Corbi....
Cool....
I'm a bit weary of Marvel films as of late due to a couple that I found woefully underwhelming. (IOW...sucked)
"Avengers: End Game just didn't grab me enough to view more than once.
"Avengers: Civil War" was the worst.
But....what do I know.
Good....I'll look forward to giving it a view.

🎦 "Wild Card" (2015)
I watched "Wild Card" (2015) and enjoyed it.
Usually, I don't particularly enjoy "interludes" between actions in any action movies.
However, this one is a little bit different from typical Jason Statham action movies.
Those irrelevant scenes at first glance, are actually very relevant.
One other thing, Milo Ventimiglia (44), although playing a bad guy, a coward and a liar, a perfect villain, obviously he had spent a quite serious time for weights since I saw him last time in "Heroes". It really shows though he's 38 when the movie was shot.
And more than anything, I love this song.

Just watched The Tomorrow War starring Chris Pratt, for some reason I really got into this movie. Has a ton of action and the aliens aren't constantly cloaked in darkness like so many other films and these ones are badass. Pretty good plot and easy to follow unlike some time travel flicks. I give this one 2 definite thumbs up and if you are into sci-fi stuff and aliens then this should be a must watch.

Fuking solid review, Corbi. Based on that, I only got one question that will determine if I check the flick out. Does Chris Pratt get eaten by the aliens? You dont have to go full spoiler, but at least give me the thumbs up that Chris Platt Pratt doesn't make it and the cause of death is being eaten. Preferably by aliens.
