I entered this bad boy late so I only have one maybe two prior vids posted in here. I do believe I was annointed as in though.
I was feeling really good going into trying my 1RM today. I was inspired by Bando frankly. Congrats big fella!!
He kicked some serious arse from the beginning. I've been doing a 5x5 for several months and not working close to my 1RM so was curious what today would bring.
Enough chatter......hit 450!
I was thrilled so bear with me as I post a few vids leading up to the 450.......
405 went up pretty easy so tacked on another 15..... which 420 was my previous 1RM dating back to 2007. It's in my prior journal here.
Once 420 felt good, I went for 430.....
Surprised and stoked at pulling 430......440 was in my sights after some motivation
Once I pulled 440, sat down, rested and said to myself "screw it!" and tacked on another 10 lbs. I knew I had it in me and with some extra motivation I pulled that @$#$%@%
Now I have to reset my next 5x5 run with a new 1RM!Last edited by eddied27; 12-30-2010 at 08:11 PM.

A step backwards is better than a setback.
If this (insert whatever trivial thing that is upsetting me) is the worst thing to happen today, I'm going to have a great day.
