Buying Olympic set + Power Rack

I went out today shopping for a power rack, weight set and FID bench, i would just like some opinions on the prices and what not.

    1. $249 - 300lb Olympic set, 7' Bar (rated for 700lb's)

    2. $450 - Powerline power rack (PPR200X)

    3. $199 - Powerline FID Bench 130X

Right now im mainly planning on buying he weight set. the bar was really nice, and its on sale until the end of the month(usually $300). The power rack and bench are a bit too expensive i find.

    so,

For Canadians, How do these prices compare to other stores you've bought from? Can anyone recommend a better place to buy?

For Americans, I live ~2 hours from NY so i was thinking i could drive down and buy everything there if it will save me enough money. What are some really good places to shop that will blow those prices away? I checked out dick's but I was not really impressed, the same power rack was $400 ($50 savings). Any other big stores?

    Thanks!

Check out New York Barbells. Good deals on racks. Better than the powerline and cheaper. They start at $329. It's located in Elmira NY. Also Dick's Sporting goods sells an olympic 300 lb weight set for under 150 bucks, which is a pretty good deal. Sometimes the olympic set is on sale to, I've seen it for as low as 109.

He is approx. 2 hours from NY. Elmira is a long way from the border, probably somewhere in the 3 hour driving range. That's a pretty long trip to save not that much money when you factor in time and gas.

Forget Fitness Depot, they're a ripoff. Either look at kijiji or go to treadmill factory. You can get a powertec rack for $400 right now.

Also forget about going over the border..As someone else said, factor in time and gas and it won't be a deal anymore. And how were you going to try to sneak a power rack past the border guards? Get ready to pay duty on that biatch.
    I rep back...

You can get the powerline power rack at SAMS club for $295 shipped to you including taxes. Not a bad deal at all and I plan on getting this rack for the New Year.

ya i've ruled out going to the US, i saw the treadmill factory deal but the shipping cost is going to be at least 100, and theres taxes i think. So not really a deal anymore unless i can pick it up instore, which is 2.5 hours away. And ive been checking daily for months on kijiji and usedottawa with no luck.

    sucks
