I probably send more mod reports than anyone on this site! LOL..I positively pester them on this issue.....
and the mods here work VERY FAST.....
as to the over35 aspect, I have often negged people, especially underage visitors, for getting wise ass with regular contributing members.
I for one, steadfastly, believe in sticking up your internet friends.

I try to always rep success.
I don't dole out negs that often but it has happened.
A pr is a great thing and should be acknowledged. It can motivate someone to the next level. I hope to post my trifecta single pr's before next week is up.
I know they won't win any pl comps or form awards. But that's why they are called "personal" records

never have negged anyone, no one currently on ignore. The plates on the bar in both Steve & Flex's vids are more impressive than any pointless, enigmatic comments.

Members have made some very valid points. For the most part trollz don't bother me, and Da Piggy is my biggest fan LOL But seriously Journals and PR Threads IMO are off limits no grey area here for me. You want to give constructive criticism there are polite ways of doing it, or send the person a PM.
I think I have given a total of 2 negs since I have been here and both have been to trolls. I can disagree with a regular member without resorting to the red skittles after all are we not all adults here
As far as coming to the assistance of friends on here. I will always do that whether they need it or not. I am the same exact way IRL as I am on here, if I feel a friend has been wronged I become a vicious little pitbull My son loves watching me (his exact words) putting the verbal smackdown on people who are mean or hateful. He has seen me in action with some of the parents that have been abusive towards other people's kids on the field. I never yell but they leave knowing exactly were I stand with their behavior
Just my .02
Hope everyone here has a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS

"If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

I really don't get this but I don't understand a lot of things so that's not unusual. If it really is that touchy of a suject for most people, I'll keep my big nouth shut.
For the record: If anyone has constructive criticism to post in my journal (constructive meaning advice and suggestions of things I should change or do differently to help me be a stronger, bigger, better lifter and that includes form critique and routine/paticular exercise suggestions) I implore you to speak up and bring it on!!!! I mean it. My feelings will NOT be hurt, and I will welcome the input. I would actually be MORE hurt if someone KNEW there was something I was doing wrong or could do differently to be a better lifter and they did NOT let me know. That IS why I keep a public journal, after all. (100% srs.)Sheriff John Brown always hated me

I agree with this.
Too much coddling in the journals, IMHO, although I am guilty of it too.
I don't have an issue with anyone saying anything CONSTRUCTIVE in my journal or a PR thread I make.
HOWEVER, I do have a problem with meaningless negative BS such as "Your form sucks".

I agree with this 100%, as a matter of fact the more someone f'cks with me, the better I become. There is absolutely nothing someone can say to "hurt" my feelings lmfao. But they could say something to make me take a look at myself and do something about it. Perfect example would be OS, he said I looked like sh!t, like a corpse and when I looked in the mirror I wholeheartedly agreed, I hit the f'cking gym like a f'cking animal, corrected my diet and was focused 100%. So yeah I say bring on the criticism and don't hold back any punches, but be prepared for me to come back like a f'cking pitbull and prove you wrong and you better be able to back your sh!t up as well, bring it!

Something as stupid as "your form sucks" I wouldn't even acknowledge. To me, that is someone looking to "try" and get under my skin and honestly that sh!t just doesn't work with me. Now you see if it was IRL I would say to them, lets go, your turn show me how it is done. If the person lifts the same weight as me with perfect form then I would shut the f'ck up and say "Hey man how the f'ck did you just do that, show me"

Absolutely. The journals are sacred ground, so to speak, and nobody should be trolling or talking out of line in anyone's. It has always been considered to be so (a safe haven of sorts).
PR threads - The same. The only exception (like opening a can of worms) is when the OP says in their opening post, something like, "How is my form?" or "All comments welcomed" etc... Other than that, people just need to use common fcking courtesy, and recognize that someone just posted something they're very proud of. To tear them or their accomplishment down is just destructive and uncalled for. The only exception I could see here was if someone (the OP) was doing something so wrong as to be clearly dangerous, and that it might benefit the overall membership for someone to speak up...politely, of course."If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

You misunderstood what I meant. Constructive criticism and suggestions on forms, reps, diet etc. are ALWAYS welcome in my journal. That is how I have learned so much the past year with everyones honest feedback. What I don't agree on is personal attacks or saying your form sucks and then not giving feedback on what I can do to improve my form. Or as one teen miscer did in my old journal when I had a pic of my abs up he comes in telling me I am a hag with stretch marks.
^^^^^ Agreed 100%

All of this^^. I have received some inqiries in my journal (as a way of saying, "You may want to re-examine this"), I love that input. I know I don't move the most weight, but my intensity for the weight I am moving is all I can do. I think people recognize that, or they at least seem to. Don't know why I posted this, but just wanted to say that I too like constructive stuff in my journak.
When I forst came to BB.com, I started a stupid thread, and got nailed on it. I could have gotten mad, cried, fought back and left (like so many do). But, I chose to accept that lifting weights is a painful, sometimes dirty, and always unforgiving undertaking. You man (or woman) up, take your lumps for what they are (aka:HELP) and you move on.
With that said, I think it sucks when someone attacks someone else unprovoked, and then expects that adding the phrase :"It's just the internet, dude," is going to make it all better.
Maybe on some other websites, that tpye of sht flies. On here, (imo) it is different. We are known here for adding comments and suggestions which can put peoples physical health in danger. Yeah, it is "just the internet" to the punks and the trolls. For others, the info we receive here can be life changing, for the good or the bad.If you poke a bear in the eye, expect a bear like response.
