Way back when, when my journey into weightlifting started, I have always been wanting to put up the 100lb dumbbells on flat bench which is the highest our gym has. When I started I could barely handle the 45's. I remember some dude asked me to spot him while he did decline with the 100lb dumbbells and I could barley lift them let alone spot him. I was amazed to see him rep these.
Today I was that guy. I decide to go for the 100's. I pushed them for 3 clean reps. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that would be possible. I've considered quitting many times, but stuck it out.
My note to all is to be persistent. Rome wasn't built overnight and neither will you. It will happen and you CAN accomplish any goal you set your mind to. Good luck to all and let's set some new PR's this 2011!!!

Congrats. I know how you feel. When I started, I couldn't even bench 100 lbs. So when you hit that milestone and keep moving forward, it feels great. Keep it up.
