    Rest and Recovery with Animal PM

    first off thanks to everybody at universal.

    now for some background:
    I am an 18 year old powerlifter who's dream is to total elite within the next year raw and for the next 4 weeks I'm going be logging animal PM from universal nutrition. hopefully I can get some better recovery times and more restful sleep with PM.

    first impressions: from what I can see right off the bat, these pills will be much easier to take down than Animal Pak or Uni-liver so thats a plus. also as soon as I opened the container, the smell hit me. I don't really know how to describe it. odd but not bad. I'll report back tomorrow with my impression from the first night

    day 2:

    Woke up feeling pretty refreshed this morning. Overall I had a very good, deep nights sleep without interruption. also I didn't wake up feeling groggy at all. So far I like it.

    I have trouble sleeping too and I fell asleep relatively quickly and stayed asleep the entire night. the relaxation ingredients do their job pretty well

    I woke up this morning relatively early for a calculus test and still felt like I got enough sleep. my sleep has improved greatly from this. the 6 hours I got last night felt like a full night's rest.

    now for todays workout

    day 3: max effort lower body

    back squats-
    315x15

    front squats-

    275x5x2 sets

    deadlifts with band tension- ( around 100 pounds at the top) ps: bands are not included in given weights

    rack pulls from below the knee cap

    weighted abs- sit ups with a 45 pound plate
    3 sets of 10

    the workout felt amazing today. I've been rehabbing my hamstring for 3 weeks from a slight tweak. today I finally felt like I was 100% ready for some heavy pulling

    great sleep last night. I'm done with all classes for the semester so now I am finally able to sleep in. I got around 9 hours of sleep last night and feel pretty good. the muscle soreness from yesterdays workout is not too bad either

    thanks. we used one of those rickshaws for shrugs on concrete. it stuck a little bit but it worked

    my sleep was pretty good last night. I felt refreshed for the workout.

    I just started 5/3/1 today and got in a great workout. I forgot my belt in the dorms but the numbers were still pretty good.

    my back is horribly sore from yesterday's workout. don't think any kind of supplement could put a dent in it. however. I had a very restful nights sleep with some crazy dreams


    overhead press day:
    standing OHP-
    95x5
    110x5
    125x8

    pullups-
    BWx15
    30x8x 2 sets
    BWx19

    dumbell shoulder press-
    50's x10 x5 sets
    "on the bech press i usually start off with 205 doing it 5 times then once i ad my usual extra 5 pounds on i can barely do it twice. How can i increase my chest cardio? so i can rep heavy weight easier" -dc1992hp

    5 plates+a quarter on each side-8 reps x 4 sets
