573 lbs and 600 lbs squats - belt and wraps

this is my first time using the wraps
the reason i am squatting in them is because the are allowed in the competition i'll be going to, so why not...

    best raw lifts (in competition):

squat 350 (772 lbs) - belt and wraps
    bench 210 kg (462 lbs)
    deadlift 320 kg (705 lbs) - belt

    hahahaa

    idk...

573 didn't feel heavy, but the wraps felt really weird so that threw me off....

i have 2 more weeks of getting used to the wraps so hope it'll be okay for the comp.

    yeah, it looked lower

but i'm still very unsecure with these weights and the walk out was really hard with the wraps, so i didn't know what to expect with the 573...
now is just a matter of getting the cns to adapt to bigger weights

have you tried a wider stance?

from what i see you probably wouldnt have to use your back so much if you squatted a little wider.

also dont walk it out so far.

yeah, i did wide stance before and it worked for me..
but later i switched to oly lifting and started doing high bar squats and made some progress but eventually got stuck
the thing is, my back is much stronger than my legs so i want to use it as much as i can
so i switched to a narrow stance low bar squat so i can still bounce out of the hole (didn't really use that that time) and use my back
i've been making great progress since... got like 60 kg on my no belt/wraps squat in 5-6 months
and my deadlift also went up coz i use the same stance there as well...

the walk out was a bit long, i think i fixed it
that was the first time with the wraps so everything was strange... couldn't even walk properly

    squat from today

probably the hardest grind i did

felt like crap for a week, had a real bad cold so everything felt much heavier than it should have
    best raw lifts (in competition):

squat 350 (772 lbs) - belt and wraps
    bench 210 kg (462 lbs)
    deadlift 320 kg (705 lbs) - belt

That last rep was almost a 550# good morning. A lot of determination to grind that last rep out...
Okay, have you ever been around chickens? They are stupid, uncooperative, inconvenient, ill-tempered creatures. They get what they deserve. [Bleep] chickens.

    my latest squat
been struggling with a couple of injuries for the last few months (SI joint and quad tendon) so this is sort of a comeback to heavy squatting

i know it's a bit high but my SI joint still hurts a bit when i go lower so i don't want to injure it again...
    best raw lifts (in competition):

squat 350 (772 lbs) - belt and wraps
    bench 210 kg (462 lbs)
    deadlift 320 kg (705 lbs) - belt
