^Nice, good to see they aren't too bare. I really need to ski Tahoe sometime, those lake at the bottom pics are always awesome. Plus I have watched GNAR enough times that I really need to see if I can nut up and drop any of the lines on the palisades.

7th, 8th, 9th, 10th Snowbird, 11th Alta for demo day then sunday 12th for wherever Fiona wants to go to...

Insane amount of snow. Most fresh pow, and most first tracks, I've ever been a part of.
I've ridden quite a bit of pow out here in Japan, but for the first time ever, I was actually miserable because of it. I hate chit all day long. And when I hate chit, I was hiking in chest deep pow, trying to find a spot I could get back into my board. I mean, even your fkin groomers, were knee to waste deep pow.
On top of all that, my conditioning for some reason was awful, and from the first run, my quads were on fire. By the 3rd run, the quad on my back foot was cramping up. Started catching insane charlie horses. I was left virutually immobile at times, in the back country, a lone, waiting out cramps while I picked out my line of where to hike to in this god forsaken pow.

Ugh few weeks back, I went on a downslope box. As soon as I hit it, my board basically stopped, while my body still had the momentum. It felt like I was on sand paper. Twisted my body and slammed my left shoulder pretty hard into the box/ground. Luckily I didnt break anything, but I had trouble since. I cant even do my chest yet. Feels like one of the strands of muscles either got super stretched or something else.

funny mentally right now i am stuck between wanting to golf at home and so looking forward to skiing in 8 days... got hopefully 5 good days in new orleans before that too...
tomorrow is service my Billy Goats day... edges at 1 and 1 and blunt so assuming ice first thing most days i will make sure they are razor as they are fat as skis... going for a warm wax - had to fill in the bases so much on Wednesday due to the 9 days in France and Switzerland on them this year...
packing the rest of the ski stuff bit early as leaving first thing Thursday but mentally i just wish i was leaving after tomorrow... 3 days of work to go....
seems to be some snow forecast for next week but warm and dry this weekend - all i want in my 7 days skiing is one proper POW day of 12inches... thats not too much to ask...Sleepy.
