Why don't you turn off the alarm, roll over, and go back to the dream world that offers consistant comfort? What drives you to walk through another day that is guaranteed to be filled with problems, criticism, dissapointment, and finally, uncertainty?
The only answer I can come up with, is that I have to. I know that my family will be sad if I do not appear to be doing well. Feels numb man. Our life is less than a vapor... gone so quickly, and eventually, forever forgotten. There is no afterlife, there is simply returning to the universe in a form of energy. It is both sad and beautiful at the same time.
I would enjoy seeing others with real responses put in their 2 cents.

i get up in the morning when the alarm goes off only so i can maintain my diet. its wierd i put so much effort into training but 80% of the reason i do it is for other people. if there was no pressure in society to be a certain way life would be hard to imagine. if it was that way my only reason for waking iwould be because i wouldnt want to fall behind. my animal instinct of staying with the herd will probably kick in, otherwise it would be so easy to float around aimlessly your whole life
