I used to fly a lot as a kid, and while in the air, I didn't believe that I was actually going anywhere. I used to think that the pilot would take us up into the air for a long enough time for the ground crew to rearrange the "set"/geography and when I landed the actors/actresses would be pretending to be from somewhere else.

There was a candid camera where they got twin sisters and put one at the departure airport and the other at the destination airport and had everything decorated the same way with the same location name at both places, when they landed at their destination they thought the plane brought them back to where they were lol.
