After a jury of your peers convict someone of murder beyond a doubt, they should go ahead and execute them. It's called a punishment for a crime.

It is absolutely never acceptable to kill somebody, but our legislature is willing to give the benefit of the doubt to those who do it once. However, if you show a grave indifference to human life by killing multiple people, off to the gas chamber with you. I agree with that policy and it's aimed at sparing criminals' lives.

We agree to disagree. The government doesn't want to kill people. It tries to avoid it. That's why it employs a sh!t happens attitude to people who kill one person. But, when you show you truly don't care about the lives of others, then they sentence you to death. I think that's infinitely more acceptable than killing everybody.
