WOW!!! I'm happy for you, man. Congrats and best of luck.
First, when I saw the first picture I was like, "Whoa."
Then, the next picture, I was like ,"WHoa."
Then the next, I was like "WHOA, THAT IS FREAKIN' AWESOME STUDIO, MAN."
Then as I was scrolling and reading other comments I saw Keltron's new avatar and I was like, "whoa, those sideburns are really prominent."This above all..

so jealous...... looks badass!
People ask why I train so much and eat like I do all the time... Well, the answer is simple:
I will not allow somebody with half the determination and twice the genetics be better than me.

Very nice place again but do you have barbells, power rack, platform? Do you plan on training any athletes?

This^^ Not saying I'd have a smith machine but if you're designing a studio w/ anti-smith machine meatheads in mind, its going to fail....
Like I posted before, the only thing I can nitpick about the studio would be no natural light (if that's the case). For a client being in there for a couple hours it wouldn't be that bad, but for a gym owner/trainer being in there 8 hours a day it would kind of suck..
Natural light always FTWContact me about our author Program

to all the haters..... you need to open your eyes and mind.
Not everyone is a bodybuilder or athlete. If thats you target market all the best to you.
His target market is mentioned earlier and this is the type of equipment you need to train these people.
I love seeing all these people s******ing behind a computer screen. usually these are the ones making the threads "what cert is best" "how do i get clients".

It is not about knowing better, both me and my partner who are competitive bbers use the studio and the smith to train, Why would a smith machine be bad, if its to lite add some weight and in all honesty I do not think that any of my clients will ever tell me : " Dimitri I would love to train here, BUT the lack of a power rack is aggravating me"
hehe thanks for bringing in some logic in to here bro! Reps on recharge.
During the day we do get a lot of natty light, to bad its dark by 430pm now...
Wait I need to be certified to do this!? hehe
Thanks! I am not to sure about bodybuilders loving this, but many of my buddies who are in to the sport do come once or twice a week to workout and love it hehe.

Smith machines are fine, and they look a lot less "intimidating" to the casual crowd. Remember, it's not a bodybuilding gym, it's meant to be a private PT studio he said. To them, it's a lot safer too since they can just cancel a set at any time by flipping the holds/locks etc.
I love both, but you gotta look at the demand for certain things and weigh up what you need as a PT studio owner vs. what you want as a bodybuilder in your own time. You put your personal opinions and preferences aside, to make the best business decision.
PT-only studios really don't need much in terms of machines and weights at all. Just the basics. This guy's place is actually way more equipped than it needs to be, if anything.advertising/self-promotion not permitted

11-17-2010, 08:52 PM #56--BLEED TIME KREW (BTK)--
I relate everything to the weight room floor because it works. I gnaw at the edges, and I get work done. No matter how hard it gets, no matter how much weight's in my way, I keep on going. And everyday, every rep, I'm better than the last. This success and this mental toughness carries over to every aspect of life.... Anyone who says it doesn't, just doesn't get it. --Spags
