I doubled-majored in Electronic Publishing and E-Business Technology. Took six years, 'cause I first had ambitions to become a novelist before changing my mind. I interviewed nine times for my first job as a designer/developer with a major industrial firm. I worked full-time while attending university full-time. It was worth it, because I'm in the driver's seat in my life.

You're ignorant. Tell Douglas Crockford, Yahoo's senior JavaScript architect, that JavaScript isn't a programming language:

I'm aware of PHP's capabilities and its place within the technology stack. There's definitely a place for dedicated JavaScript developers within the market, and that's where I'm sticking for now. I should mention that I don't intend to remain a web developer indefinitely; I'm using it as a means to transition to a different industry.

You're mistaken, sir. You didn't even bother reading the article. JavaScript is an actual programming language, but people often use it for trivial tasks like animations and slideshows. I've built sites/applications for companies in several industries (e.g., financial, industrial, health, commercial goods, etc.). My current project is an enterprise-level application owned by a large, well-known bank.
Come at me, bro.
You're just sore that I didn't reveal my income. What's with all that hate? Who has the attitude, again?Target Weight: 170 lbs @ single-digit body fat by March 2014.
