    Workout advice

    Hey everyone. I am having problems gaining muscle, so for the next 30 days im bucking down and really focusing on it. So far i have been working on getting my weight down, check, lowering my BF, check ... but still want it lower, now I want some definition. (btw I am 5'3 and 112lbs) I know one my problems is the weights need to be heavier, which I am upping starting today. And the other was the nutrition part which I have also tweeked, So im upping my calories to 1800. Now all i need is a work out. I work out4 days a week, but really just do splits, or when my workout partner decided to come she picks what to do that day. I need a good effective workout. I would love some ideas. Thank you!!!

    A lot of women here really like New Rules of Lifting for Women, which is available at most bookstores (and of course online). There's also All Pro's Beginner's routine which is here:

    Any of those, or any other professionally written program, will be far superior to just picking what to do for the day once you get to the gym - but you know that.
