Went 4-0 today to take first place. 3 pins and a decision.
9lbs over for this thursdays dual though....fml
To the injury guy, I've broken a rib, broken my hand, and hyper extended my elbow amongst lots of other little things wrestling. And my shoulders are completely ****ed, some times during the day I can't lift them at all.

hey guys, starting my 1st match tom
im wrestling froshsoph and jv
but toms a frosh, but its still my 1st match
tips would be nice, but my real question is
how the fk should i wear my head gear
my friend who went to camps etc, told me to have it tight on top, and have the strap on your chin tight, but loose enough to breathe and swallow
but right now, my the top part isnt too tight, around medium, back is me
nvm
do i have to make it tight as fuu

yeah you want it tight so it doesn't get pulled off or anything.

I lost the match thursday. He jumped before thw whistle at first. then when it started i tied up with him and my mind went blank and then all i could think to do was keep tieing up and hand fight til he gets tired. was winning the tie up and being agressive and wasnt gonna let the bastard go but then i pushed into him and he caught me and ****.pinned me and when i got up the ref was like someones bleeding. it was my head but i thought it was my ear cuz my ear got split open the day before. i was being so agressive in the tie up that his head gear cut my head and i bled. looks like i carved an x on my head. then the kid went to a tournament and placed first. wish i went to the tounrament. would have been able to get a rematch

yeah well i weighed 150 in 7th grade(srs)
eitherway i ended up going 135, ill make the jump to 25/30 later but i like where i am right now. anyways i had to wrestle i think one of the strongest lb4lb kids ever. he was a senior 135lber who benched 275 according to his teammates that i went to a wrestling camp with. i won 6-0 but he was a ****ing tank

Can someone aware me on a few questions?
If you have two wrestlers on the same team in the same weight class do they make one cut weight to wrestle in a lower weight class?
People who wrestle and don't lift during season do they lose some muscle or maintain with the wrestling practice?
When wrestling does body strength always win over technique.

If two people are in the same weight they either go to a different class or wrestle off for the varsity spot. The others in the class are JV.
I don't get much of a chance to lift except at practice from time to time and I've probably lost some mass with cutting. Strength stays relatively the same if not increases.
In the first year or two of wrestling you can win with your strength but once you're going against wrestlers who know what they're doing technique wins every time.52 weeks...make 'em count
Times will get tough.
