In order for man to succeed in life, God provided him with two means, education and physical activity. Not separately, one for the soul and the other for the body, but for the two together. With these two means, man can attain perfection. - Plato

I'll be pulling for Brock but it won't surprise me if Cain beats him.
Cain is a pretty well-rounded fighter who is growing and getting better and whose best days are still ahead of him. I can see him winning in more ways than Brock can. I also think that his ko power is still an unknown.
Brock's got a nice size, strength, and reach advantage, but his stand up is still TERRIBLE and I'm not convinced that he knows how to USE his advantages. That leaves him with just his wrestling. If Brock doesn't score the takedown 100% of the time, I'm afraid that Cain will clip him and it could end quickly or it could hurt Brock just enough to obviate his size strength and wrestling giving Cain the upper hand for the rest of the fight."Pain hurts, lemme tell ya. It can ruin your whole day." -Bill "Superfoot" Wallace

no son, this is about who you think is going to win...the poll said nothing about who you're rooting for...and your predictions are always wrong, son...that's why you said lesnar wouldn't go anywhere in mma...this is why you predicted mir would beat him the second time, and why couture would beat him, and...<sigh>...you've been wrong so many times i tire of typing, son
Oh, and if you're truly planning on discontinuing your asinine predictions, please don't...keep them coming, you're a great tool for me to use...thanks baby...love ya ~!

Chestner will win with relative ease and if there is a Carwin rematch........Lesner will win yet again, but this time in convincing fashion. Sad but true.

I don't think Brock will stand with Cain for very long. His success in this fight depends on whether or not he can take Cain down. I personally don't think he'll have a problem getting Cain to the floor. With that said, I hope Cain knocks him out before Brock dives for his legs. Should be a good fight though.

Wow. It has to be Cain.
Lesnar hasn't looked convincing once yet. His main attack against Carwin was a barrage of headbutts to the fist, which tired Carwin out. Cain's standup looks awesome, better than anyone that Lesnar's faced before (Carwin has KO power but not Cain's technique). I can't see Lesnar pulling another win out of this, for me this is 75% Cain's fight.

its not a myth at all we've seen it, deal with it.
When has brock ever set a pac like we've seen cain set? the first 60 seconds of his ufc carreer is the only time.
And another interesting fact is that brock may not be cutting weight and will have a 25 pound weight advantage as opposed to the 40 pound we all expected. 20 pounds is significant but if couture could negate 60 pounds cain might be able to negate 25.you wanna know how i did it, this is how, i never saved anything for the swim back.

When was he tired? It wasn't the Couture fight people reference. If he was tired, so was Couture. Winded and gassed aren't the same. If he was tired, he wouldn't have had the energy to pounce and close the show when he did.
Maybe one day you'll be able to hold a conversation without mentioning nuts.

I didn't say Brock set a pace like Cain. I said they BOTH have had the advantage of defining the paces of their fight. I don't know how either will react when they aren't dictating the pace.
Couture lost round 1, lost the striking in the fight, lost the wrestling in the fight, and everything he did was almost immediately one upped by Lesnar. He didn't negate anything. He held his own, but didn't negate anything.

Who has better top control? Have you seen anything from Cain to suggest he's a better grappler? How about a better wrestler?
And what makes his takedowns overrated? That they didn't come automatic against a high level wrestler? If that's your argument, I suggest you take some time to watch wrestling. Takedowns usually aren't automatic when two high level wrestler go at it. The two fights you referenced he won based on his wrestling, and had more takedowns then both Carwin and Couture. And from reading your post I can't say you aren't in a position to say anyone that doesn't agree with your position doesn't know much about MMA. The fact of the matter is we know little of both guys, certainly not enough to talk absolutes.
