    Days to work out..

    I'm kinda in a predicament with my dad on the days to work out.

    What is a good combination of days to work out?

    What days and muscle groups do yu work out?

    I wanna lift atleast 4 days a week? Is that bad?

    How much time do I need to recover?

    4 days should be fine, just follow a program and avoid overtraining

    I do 5, but if your just starting I want to say stick to 3.

    Just give at least 48 hours between muscle groups and get proper nutrition and sleep and you'll be fine, assuming you stay away from over training.

    i'm on a 5 day split:

    monday: arms
    tuesday: rest
    wednesday: legs/forearms
    thursday: chest
    friday: back
    saturday: rest
    sunday: shoulders/traps



    this is just an example, i'd suggest starting with a 4 day split and possibly upping to a 5 day split in a couple months! it all depends on your recovery and how your muscles respond
