i noticed lately that it seems like a majority of the misc is atheist or agnostic. just curious as to how many of you on the misc believe in god or that a higher power/creator exists.

one thing you need to realize is that there are a fair split of people with different beliefs, and bringing it up will just lead to pointless argument and banter. Let people believe what they want, there's no point in challenging it. If you feel yours makes you more intelligent or knowledgeable, then take it to a forum that actually gives a ****. atheism vs religion debate doesnt even go on in other forums because almost everyone is atheist.
this forum consists of bodybuilders who have high rep power but not necessarily brain power. a religious mod can dominate the whole forum views just with his reps.

Religious people just are coping or are in denial at the moment. I remember when I found out Santa wasn't real. I refused to believe it. But as the thought lingered and festered in my mind, all the pieces fell into place: my parents put the presents under the tree, or there is no way an immortal fat guy in a red suit could make billions of stops in one night with the aid of flying reindeer, and maybe Santa was constructed to keep my behavior in check, and he is somehow invisible too, etc. etc.
