Youve been killing it in the weight room recently bro! Your much more relaxed mental state is really taking its effect on your lifting.

For sure! My energy's no longer being wasted worrying about the trivial details and I can focus on the important stuff
Well I had tried to convince myself that 2600 on WO days and 2300 on rest days was good enough, but my body told me otherwise and I finally was able to listen to it about a month and a half ago. Now 2800 feels like nothing
The only annoying thing would be trying to explain why you're doing it to those around you. Most people just wouldn't get it.I protest this fraud

why is it annoying? do people actually ask you why youre taking pictures?
whats wrong with saying: im trying to put on a little weight and these pics help me out
seems perfectly reasonable to me
my response to that would be:
good for you man, give me the camera and ill take the two of you together![][][][]===FREE AGENT===[][][][]

Cinematic Character of the Day
Wesley Gibson: Wanted
Reason: Broke the monotony of his life to do something great
I probably shouldn’t like this movie because I’m a Physics major and it has one of the worst cases of “movie physics,” but oh well
Workout
Bulk Week 6
rest
Food
Not pictured: Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Oatmeal, Turkey and Cheese Sandwich, Plain Oatmeal (I actually love this stuff )
Fried Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese, Couscous with Vegetables, Black Bean Burger
Florentine Fish, Baked Potato, Black Beans, Fried Okra, Broccoli
Highlight food of the day: Fried Chicken
Macros Today: 162g protein/285g carbs/79g fat/2500 calories
Bowling
off
Comments
I think I’ve found through various levels of fat and carb intake that I function best when my carbs are at least above the 270 range. I’ve been tweaking my off days a little to get in more carbs instead of fat (while still hitting the minimum of course) because I seem to have the best workouts after a day of higher carbs vs. a day of higher fat. I mention this because I noticed I was low today so I ended up eating a dinner with ~100g carbs.
Killed my first exam today, but it was a lower level class that was designed to be easy for basic Matlab programming so that was to be expected.
Mental State
Off days are always about the same in this respect. I don’t weigh myself in, I don’t lift, and now I don’t even have class so there really is nothing to focus on as far as progress is concerned and my mind is basically free to wander all day.
Terse update tonight because I have my Physics exam tomorrow and I should be studying right now

Everything went well in the gym once again. Reps are up (even a few on bench), weight it is up, so it’s all progressing quite nicely.
I haven’t mentioned my appetite for a while because it has been a non issue. I am always at least a little hungry for each meal and always leave the table satisfied, which to me seems like the perfect balance. I also tend to maintain a pretty steady energy level throughout the day and have always had enough to get through my workouts without dreading the next exercise since the deload.
Mental State
Well there really was nothing to fret about this week as my weight average only went up .233 pounds so I never got to test my new mindset. My weight has been all over the place the past three weeks as I was down a little, then up 1.7 lbs, and now up .233, but I guess it all just averages out in the long run (note: I’m not worrying about it at all, just thinking it was odd).
I felt like I was punched in the stomach by my Physics test today. It took longer than expected (almost the full three hours), so by the time I was done I was mentally and physically exhausted in addition to being pretty hungry because I had missed one of my usual meals. The funny thing is that the “hard stuff” that was the most important part of the test/course I nailed, such as special relativity and the Schrodinger Equation; it was the short answer questions that were tricky. It was just a bunch of random stuff that we were somehow expected to remember from the more obscure chapters and I spent a lot of time just staring at the wall thinking about them. All in all I ended up assembling what I think were some pretty decent responses so I guess I’ll see how it turns out when the grades come back next week. I got a feeling though that there will be a curve as I could see a majority of the class bombing that thing
Enjoy the weekend!

Why can't you? i know it's a mental struggle but the quicker you introduce things like that into your diet the better. Once you see it won't affect you, it'll become easier each and every time. Pretty soon you can eat virtually anything and won't think a thing about it.
Take Sean for example, he eats fried chicken, reese's puffs, cheesecake, ice cream etc. and has he turned into the next michellan man? No.

Damn that 113, lol. Well that should be my last outing at “The Alley” (so it is called) for the year. Hopefully while I’m at home I’ll still be able to bowl at least once a week because I don’t want to lose anything coming back. I definitely be getting in some games after I get my ball as I’ll be really antsy to test it out.
Comments
Got some good studying done today and now feel confidently prepared for the first of my exams on Tuesday. Tomorrow I will work on the second one and Monday the third, so as long as there are no road blocks (which I don’t foresee), then the rest of my exams should be no problem.
T-minus four days until Winter Break
Mental State
Continuing to not be an issue. The only consistently negative thoughts occur is when I feel I may have underestimated a portion size here or there and start thinking that I ate way too much. This usually happens if I feel more full than normal, but most of the time that feeling goes away by my next meal and I pretty much forget about it later in the day. I also have had success with reasoning that even if I did eat maybe 200 more calories than normal (or more), it all will average out in the long run and will not make a bit of difference. Luckily this has been the trend lately: Logic winning out over irrational fears/emotions, which is exactly what I want to be happening.
I guess I must be doing something right

I'm glad it's leveled out like this...it's pretty much exactly the rate I was desiring from the beginning. And that's what I tell myself everyday! It's what makes it all worth it
Me too. I think the bread is extremely important and luckily the dining hall gets it from a local bakery

Yeah same place.
I have the unlimited meal plan, which means I can get any amount of food all throughout the day, for about $1300 a semester. I also get three possible meals a day at Chick-Fil-A, Taco Bell, a Sub Place, and a smoothie place in addition to that.
Pretty good deal if you ask meI protest this fraud

Yeah I have never really eaten there in my life other than a soft taco once. I need to head over there soon because I want to try some of their stuff. However, the one on campus' menu is limited and I keep pushing off trying it because Taco Bell is everywhere and I could get it anytime.........yet I never have .
