    Fat/Carb

Ok...I know that it's not a good idea to have fat and carbs in the same meal...

SO....does that mean if I have one chicken breast(11g Fat) with a certain amount of brown rice, which I think is carbs...that would be a bad thing?

thanks but that didn't answer my question...would eating skinless, boneless chicken breasts with 11g of fat and some brown rice be bad? depending on how much rice I have, of course

I guess it just depends... Some people loose fat only by cutting on sodas, while others have to almost "perfect-out" their diets. Yes, carbs + fats don't match, and if you feel that you need a perfect diet, try to avoid those fats. Just grill some boneless/skinless chicken and you'll be good.

Under 15 grams of either fat or carbs should be fine with each other.

Dude, skinless boneless chicken breast only has like 1.5g of fat per serving, so I would suggest that you stop cooking it in all of that crap. What I do is just chop up 2 breasts into tiny pieces and add it to what ever carb source I feel like eating that day (yams, brown rice, whole wheat pasta), and it tastes great without all the added ingredience. But to answer your question, you should try to keep your carbs and fats as seperated as you can.
