    40/40/20 and calories burned???

First excellent forum folks. I have been reading and obatining info for awhile now.

I have searched and read many threads but did not find this question or an answer to this question.

I am currently doing my best to follow a 40/40/20 diet with between 10x and 12x my weight in calories. (Using fitday . com, another fine out come of this forum).

I weigh 170lbs with 19-20% bf. I have been consuming between 1800 and 2000 cals/ day. Now when I exercise ( running with heart rate in the 75-85% range, ice hockey, or weight training ) I am burning up to 500 cals. Now that leaves me about 1300 to 1500 for daily living. Is this ok?

I have read here not to go below 1200 or 1500, can't remember exactly but in that area.

    Thanks for any advice.

    And yes another damn newbie.
