    2-2-1. Close.
i thought it would be close

i never thought their numbers would be so pedestrian. Brady's on pace to finish with 3600 yards passing and Rodgers is looking like he's going to throw 20 picks this season

    WTF????

They are strange. Brady has had his bye week already though, and faced some tough defenses... But yeah, he's really not throwing as much or as far as I expected him to be doing.

As for Rodgers, that pick to Jared Allen last night was just horrible.

well, this weekend certainly will help Rodgers and Greg.

3rd quarter, Rodgers is 22 for 27, 3 TDs, 243 yards passing, 41 yards rushing and is enroute to a big win. Brady had horrible completion %, but still put up 2 TDs and no turnovers

Steelers D has been kinda porous against QBs this season, although we generate turnovers and lost yardage from sacks. Brady is a dink and dunk guy, and that's where Pittsburgh is vulnerable.

He's never really looked that threatening all year though, certainly not what I'm used to seeing from him, and last night the Steelers' pass rush did some good work. Danny Woodhead better eat all the food he can get hold of in the next week to beef himself up for that third down pass-rush.

    1) Wins = Brady 7, Rodgers 6
    2) Total Yardage = Brady 2103, Rodgers 2361
    3) YPA = Brady 7.16, Rodgers 7.59
    4) TD-TO = Brady 13, Rodgers 9
    5) PR = Brady 98.8, Rodgers 90.6

Not the end of the world. Even if I punt the last two categories, whichever QB takes their team deeper in the playoffs should take the bet. Probably what it should have come down to in the end.

How does the playoff weighting work exactly? Is it just for wins, or do all stats get multiplied or whatever?

I'm confused about that myself. All I know is that's when keth's on his own for figuring out passer rating!

for the most part, that's how it will work out, unless one team goes deep into the playoffs while their QB just absolutely sucks.

postseason stats get multiplied based on how far into the playoffs it is. In other words, 300 yards in the SB will be more important than 300 yards in a wild card game.

    i got it.
I understood that part, I just meant, does it mean that say, 100 yards passing in the SuperBowl was worth 500 regular season yards? As in the explanation it says SuperBowl is worth 5.0, etc?

    Or am I confused?

100 yards passing in the Super Bowl is worth 500 yards, but then it gets scaled to a 16 game season. Ignoring every other playoff round for a bit and making up dumbass numbers that work for an example, let's say Rodgers throws for 4500 yards and misses the playoffs and Brady throws for 4000 yards and then 400 in the Super Bowl. Rodgers would end up with 4500 yards for the purpose of the bet and Brady would end up with (4000+400*5)*16/21 = 4571, thus winning the category. QB Rating would be the same, but again, I'm not touching that shit.

Correct me if I'm wrong, kethnaab.

Ah, I see. Sort of. I'm happy doing regular season calculations if I get round to it before either of you guys, but sh*t son, I'm not doing that for the playoffs!
