    Good CARB-UP foods

I have been dieting for weeks for a photo shoot that I have coming up this Saturday. Tomorrow I will begin carbing up, and was wondering what were some good 'carb-up' foods as I have not done this before.

An article I read suggested to "go white" and eat lots of starches, however, other sources say complex (oats, sweet potatoes, brown rice) is still the way to go. Anyone have experience? If so can you share your findings?

    Thanks

I usually have some rice cakes, sweet potatoes, oatmeal, asparagus, cauliflower and broccoli for a carb up prior to a shoot.

I also snack on raisins and have a couple teaspoons of honey. Also, throw in some baby food because of the potassium.

To carb up properly, I need a shytload of carbs. Just depends on how senstive you are to carbs in terms of amount needed and how depleted you are.

Fun stuff. Vascularity through the roof.

I'm all about sweet potatoes. Give me any excuse to eat them. Sprinkle some cinnamon on them. SO GOOD!

Steel cut oats are a good option as well.

how do you know when you are at a good point to STOP carbing up? I started this morning, and will continue until the shoot saturday.

What should my nutrition be like the day of the shoot aside from only sipping water??
