    Hah, I was happy to hit the 3x3 after how sh!tty the first set felt. Probably could have pushed out a 4th on the 2nd or 3rd set if I went all out. gotta save some gas for next time though!

    Im stupid and uninformed so......can you give me the gist of the Woodbench Program that you are using.

    You know that I am back to some basic stuff, but when I bench on Monday and then again on Friday....my Friday session will not be a 3x5 or 5x5 volume seshfest. You can post it over in my house if you get time.

    Thanks my man! I'll be repping 250 CGBP soon enough! B

    Shoulders have been feeling good. I've been making an effort to do a warmup/ foam roll / stretching routine for the whole body every morning when I get up. I had gotten lazy with it and had only Been doing a half hearted one on workout days only.
    I'm already feeling more flexible after a few days. Hopefully I notice it when I squat tonight!

    As far as grip width, I've heard a few arguments that extreme close grip has the potential for wrist strain due to the severe angle that they're at.
    I'm not sure how much more the tris are involved with hands almost touching compared to the just inside shoulder width grip that I use. I certainly feel them getting hammered, especially compared to my usual bench grip which is pretty wide.
    As with just about everything, just gotta go with what works for you personally.
    I agree. I think tucking your elbows is more important than grip width for triceps involvement. I can actually hit the triceps harder using a wider grip and tucking the elbows compared to a narrow grip with elbows flared.

    Nice benching wood man.

    I like pinkies just on the inside edge of the knurling, puts them a little inside shoulder width, but not enough to put my wrists at awkward angles at the bottom of the lift. On the rare occasion that I actually do some CGBP, I like doing it on the decline bench.

    Solid hump day session today! Matched PR for squats and I was much happier with my depth this week. All the stretching and warmup that I've been doing every morning seems to be paying off.

    Elbow felt a bit off, hence the elbow sleeves on the top set of squats

    8/10 difficulty methinks. About the same difficulty as last week and the form felt better this week so that's a huge plus. PR City next week!

    I had planned to do 445 x 3, but my low back was fatigued after squats and rows. The 2nd rep looked strong in the video, but I felt too much lower back in it so I bailed on the 3rd. it's still a PR, and it's following a matched squat 5RM, so i'll take it any day of the week

    20-30 second rest. Nice stretch

    Hammer Curls
    30s x 20 (each arm)
    I figured the BB would hurt the elbow if I did poundstones, so I did these instead

    and what you did there with the deads, i see it. slow down a tad and stick with squats for a few more weeks

    Deads are feeling awesome as did squats today. Rows were a bit slower than usual but they felt awesome in the back
