Thanks dude! I'm liking the DB declines. I haven't had any collar bone issues with them. The only move that gives me collar bone pain is dips.
Thanks dude!

THanks fella!
Hah, I was happy to hit the 3x3 after how sh!tty the first set felt. Probably could have pushed out a 4th on the 2nd or 3rd set if I went all out. gotta save some gas for next time though!

Strong 265 triples man! I also dig the CGBP. I go shoulder-width with those and feel it plenty in the triceps.

Damn! I need to quit my job and abandon my fmily so that I can keep up with this journal/novel.
Im stupid and uninformed so......can you give me the gist of the Woodbench Program that you are using.
You know that I am back to some basic stuff, but when I bench on Monday and then again on Friday....my Friday session will not be a 3x5 or 5x5 volume seshfest. You can post it over in my house if you get time.
Strong sessions are strong here.

Thanks my man! I'll be repping 250 CGBP soon enough! B
Shoulders have been feeling good. I've been making an effort to do a warmup/ foam roll / stretching routine for the whole body every morning when I get up. I had gotten lazy with it and had only Been doing a half hearted one on workout days only.
I'm already feeling more flexible after a few days. Hopefully I notice it when I squat tonight!PRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Nice benching wood man.
I like pinkies just on the inside edge of the knurling, puts them a little inside shoulder width, but not enough to put my wrists at awkward angles at the bottom of the lift. On the rare occasion that I actually do some CGBP, I like doing it on the decline bench.Powerlifting Log - http://tinyurl.com/jshaw5

Wednesday- 2.20.13- Intensity Day
Solid hump day session today! Matched PR for squats and I was much happier with my depth this week. All the stretching and warmup that I've been doing every morning seems to be paying off.
Elbow felt a bit off, hence the elbow sleeves on the top set of squats
Intensity squats
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 3
265 x 1
300 x 1
335 x 5 Matched 5RM PR
8/10 difficulty methinks. About the same difficulty as last week and the form felt better this week so that's a huge plus. PR City next week!
BB Row
135 x 5
185 x 5
220 x 10
220 x 10
220 x 10
2 min rest. Not bad, felt really good in the lats
Deadlifts
225 x 5
315 x 1
365 x 1
405 x 1
445 x 2 Rep PR
I had planned to do 445 x 3, but my low back was fatigued after squats and rows. The 2nd rep looked strong in the video, but I felt too much lower back in it so I bailed on the 3rd. it's still a PR, and it's following a matched squat 5RM, so i'll take it any day of the week
Plate Pullovers
45 x 10
45 x 10
45 x 10
20-30 second rest. Nice stretch
Hammer Curls
30s x 20 (each arm)
I figured the BB would hurt the elbow if I did poundstones, so I did these instead

Nice job matching the PR on squats. Why the big jump on deads? Didn't you just do 425x3 last week?Powerlifting Log - http://tinyurl.com/jshaw5

Such a great finisher for a back session!
Thanks my man!
Deads are feeling awesome as did squats today. Rows were a bit slower than usual but they felt awesome in the back
Thanks dude!
Squat focus is going to make my dead shoot up too ya know
Just gotta do a few pulls every week so the movement stays fresh
Thanks dude! The extra stretching sessions really paid off on squats. Was getting lazy with it and I think that's why depth sucked last IDPRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1
