Nice work on squats Woody! looked like they started getting a little tough at the end. That's an interesting angle you film from there I haven't seen that from any one else.

Order of importance you *******.
Calves are never done second.
Chin ups and leg curls are clearly the 2nd and 3rd exercise

Thanks mate! Gotta set the camera wherever there's enough room to get a full shot so that's where it ends up lol
Lol Normally I would agree, but that would require unloading the bar from squats, moving it out of the rack, doing chins, then replace the bar, reload it etc. Seemed quicker just to take the few minutes to do calf raises second. U mad I'll do it again next week?
Thanks big fella!

Some awesome squatting there Woody!! You see where, after a few reps, your upper body is pulled forward a bit at times? If you try to bring your elbows forward a bit so they are more under the bar instead of pointing backward then you will get a better back position as well as better bar path. Just sayin' is all
Congratz on that 500 pull too my man!!!!!!!My PowerLifting journal!

Monday 11/12/12- Macenko's Week 2A
Kickass start to the week right here! Macenko's stepped it up a gear and tossed in some 85% work and an AMRAP set
Bench
45 x 10
135 x 5
175 x 8
220 x 6
230 x 5
245 x 4
245 x 4
245 x 4
230 x 8 Rep PR
Nice reps everywhere. Could have squeezed out 1-2 more on the AMRAP set, but I didn't want to kill myself already. Best to leave a few in the tank. I checked my notes from my first macenko's run 2 years ago and I hit 9 reps on the first AMRAP set, so I'm right in line with that (except the working weight is way higher now)
Seated Row
90 x 10
160 x 10
160 x 10
160 x 10
real slow, felt awesome. Still easy, bump 5 more next week
One Leg Calf Raises
x25
x25
x25
Dips
BW x 10
BW x 10
BW x 10
these always kill my collarbones, but I'm gonna give them a shot again. Gonna keep them BW only for now and see how it goes
Crossovers with resistance bands
x12
x12
x12
such a sick pump in the chest- love this as a finisher

Haha I tried those last night. I don't have an olympic bar at home, so I did them with a standard bar and 13 lbs plus spin lock collars on each side, came out to 46 lbs total. After 10 reps I was like wow this sucks. After 20 reps I said fukc that lol.
Nice benching man, way to step it up on that AMRAP set.Powerlifting Log - http://tinyurl.com/jshaw5

Nice work on those bench reps Woody I am interested to see where this programs takes you. What is your goal? It's probably posted some where but I am way to lazy to find it.
