Nice job Lynore! Your mid-section is showing a lot of change in just 4 months. Upper and lower abs especially and you have lost some width in the hips too. How much weight have you lost?
Curious to know, what you have been doing?
More definition can be seen in the lower neck/clavicle and trap area.
I can tell you are working hard, your neck's showing some nice cuts <--Did I say that right?

Forgot about this thread I really do not have any before pics but I wasn't overweight before I started lifitng... I was severly underweight. My lowest was the first of this year I was at 116 lbs and skinny as a fence rail. Cardio bunny I found this site in March & I learned about bulking so I went through a NASTY bulk where I put on too much weight too fast. Lesson learned & I am still cutting until I get down a few more lbs.

Hi Dana! I love that first back shot! Your arms look the real business. Looking heaps better than a fence rail More muscle definition from the hard work you've put in will come through as you get more into that cut. Nice job!
Hi Botika! You must be happy with that and just in time for Christmas!! Just looking at those pics, if we didn't know any better you would think the chick in the first pic is much older than the second. Great effort and keep up the good work!.

Im new here, so I thought I'd play. I was at my heaviest of 176lbs Jan this year. Didn't really do much till August when I started training & eating properly. So over 13 weeks or so I lost just over 10% bf and went down 2 dress sizes. Am a complete convert to strength training! Not looking to compete or anything like that, just want to blast that bf down to 18%. And get stronger so I can do more chin ups and a proper unassisted Nordic curl. Not really sure how to post a pic here - hoping when I press submit it will magically appear!

I'm new here as well. I've been stuck at 175-177 since Thanksgiving and am very excited by how my much progress you've made so far. Keep up the good work and please keep me updated on your progress. It's very inspirational for me to see another woman who weighed the exact same weight as l do look so toned and sexy I have this huge fear of excess, flabby skin in my mid section. Hopefully when I get to where you are now I'll look just as good. How long were you in the 170's and how long did it take you to lose those 40 lbs? I know you said August is when you started, but did you weigh 175 in August too? Did you take measurements before you started? If so what was your chest, waist and hips?
Thank you for sharing and thank you for motivating me to work even harder. You are confusing my willingness to explain with an invitation to debate.

Thanks girls for posting your trasformations it's inspiring to see all of you changing so much love it
That little spark that got you started in the first place.... Wasn't for nothing. It was for a reason. The rest won't happen by itself, you have to fuel it, give it oxygen so that spark can turn into flames....

Great progress! And all that in only 13 weeks is pretty outstanding. Keep it up.

I cannot stress enough that I started seeing real results only when I started writing down everything I eat, and I do favor a low carb approach. You can access my food diary online, but it wont let me post a link here( something to do with not having 50 posts? - let me know if u want the link) , have been pretty tight on running it apart from this weekend as it was my first weekend where i just ate what i wanted ( which was not too dissimilar to other days but i ate out a couple of times & had a few cocktails - back on track today!).
All I can say is that Im amazed at how much can be done without cardio...I literally did next to nothing, just weights. I have now added a circuit and a spin class as want to lose a few more pounds and getting impatient. I also have the gym bug - rest days annoy the hell out of me. I can honestly say that I have done no more than 4 hours in the gym, and ate well. Good luck, I hope it goes well for you!http://www.myfitnesspal.com/jedwab1976

I don't have consistent progress photos but these kind of show the difference that a few pounds of muscle can make...
I started from the classic "let myself go" and found myself 20# over my typical weight...lost 30# to compete in figure...started a bulk to gain some more mass...and am now holding out around maintenance until my next cut begins...
I got back up to about 155# to 160# on my bulk...but as you can see the difference in my composition is so much better now....

So true! It kind of sucked at first bulking back up after getting so lean...especially since I've never had a visible ab in all of my life...but realizing the difference that it will make the next time around is all the motivation I needed to get it done. I'm hoping my shots on March 16th blow away my June 2012 pictures.... Lovin' me some muscle!Coming out of "retirement"...Meg is training for a Figure competition...again!!!

I don't remember the exact date of the first pictures, it was sometime in the spring of 2011. Second set of pictures were taken on Nov 22
Now I'm attempting a bulk since I'm not a fatty anymore. I have way less muscle than I thought (hoped) I did.I'm gonna be one to watch in 2012. Just wait and see.
