I got my spring/summer clothes out today and guess who gets to go shopping for new shorts. They fit ok around the legs but I dropped some fat around the waist and my tummy is a lot slimmer than it was last year so it's all a bit (a lot) baggy. It definitely does not show off my hard work over the winter. So I am going shopping for clothes again. This time for the bottom part of me. Cool!

5'6", 187 lbs. Size 16/18. Disgusting and oblivious haha. Approx 41% body fat.


5'6", 143 lbs. Size 6. Still a long way from my goal. 26.7% body fat by calipers/tape.

Hi, I am very new to the forums on here, so I hope I know how to post correctly, lol.

My boyfriend of 2 years is a newly awarded NPC body builder. Watching his transformation motived me. I entered the 12 week transformation contest and I have 2 weeks left. I am down 25lbs...

From this experience it has motivated to, within a year, compete in my first competition. I have alot more to change, but seeing other success stories is so awesome!!!!!!!

LOL thanks! My friends joke if it weren't for my tattoos to ID me, they would think it was two different people. I started at 187 I am now 159, my ultimate goal is 137.

BTW, I read your personal story on your body space and good for you for taking your life back. You were definitely faced with many challenges. You are a great role model!

Good lord; you gals have amazing pictures! I was under the illusion that women couldn't build muscle like that naturally, now I feel so inspired! Mine are not so impressive, but I hope they will be soon My two cents:

The first one is a before from about 2005 (When I was fifteen). The second and third are an after from yesterday.

Wanted to share my progress!!! I have some photos up on my bodyspace, but some are me pretty much half naked that I didn't want to post up

So...2 years ago, I lost 29lbs and went from overweight to "skinnyfat". Over the last year, I started lifting heavy (just finished NROLFW) and in comparing my stats from today to the ones I took a year ago...I'm pretty much the same measurements back when I was "skinnyfat" but 5lbs heavier!!!! In the last 3 months, I've lost 5 inches all over!

YAY for recomping and newbie gains!!!!!!!!!!!

SUCH motivation and a great reminder that we all need to look at measurements/progress pics, not just the scale weight.

I started at around 140, I cant remember exactly because I always said i was a few lbs lighter! I know I was a little over 32% body-fat back then too. After two years I have dropped to range between 113-117 and 15.5% body-fat.
