    Wow! You look great.. I joined a transformation contest and it started Feb 1st and ends June 1st. My goals are close to what your "after photos" show, I have pictures posted up on my profile- if you have any tips on exercises, foods I should be eating and NOT eating, etc.. Please keep me updated.

    Everyone on here has had great results, keep them coming. This site/thread is very inspirational!

    I have managed to make a little bit more progress. Losing fat while maintaining and even building muscle. I'm now training 4-5 times a week. Added more cardio sessions after my weight training and at least two of those are tabata sessions (aiming for 4 sets of those).

    I'm showing actual delts and biceps are showing up as well. Legs are huge but they are changing shape and I have quads starting to show. I haven't lost a whole lot of weight throughout all this though.

    My training partner and I just started doing 8-6-6-6 last week. After having done 12-10-8-6 for 6 weeks this is a nice change up and it feels great to lift heavy.

    Happy FIT!!

    I started on August 9th, 2010 almost 7 months ago.. I decided to change for good because I felt really depressed and unhappy with myself. I was focus not only in lose my overweight but learn about how to do it right, eating clean, build muscle & most important lose FAT! I already lost more than 45 pounds and gain a lot knowledge. I'm in love with this journey and life style, I never imagined that lift weight will be that fun.

    I still have lots to do with my body, but I want to share these few pics of my transformation.

    We have been working really hard to accomplish our goals, and feels awesome, for me this journey has been a bed of roses because I am so in love with the results.

    Obviously the after...

    80 pounds are gone and will never be found again. People are always quick to ask me how I did it. I always tell them lifting weights...not barbie doll weights...serious heavy weights plus cardio plus proper nutrition. I started my journey when I was 39 and now I am 42 years old and I feel better than I have in two decades.

    Talking My journey to fitness modeling

    My dream for awhile has to get into fitness modeling, but I never had the drive nor the body that even came close to what it takes. I was a pin up model in my early twenties, and than by 25, I had given up fitness and started eating horribly and drinking-alot! Than 2 years ago I decided to get healthy and stop drinking. I have been clean and sober now for 20 months
    My first pic is from April 09, and the last pic was taken last week. I lost about 30 lbs, and was down to 115lb at one point, but I had no muscle and didn't like the way I looked. Now I'm up to 134lbs, and feel better than ever! I am currently on a bulk and am enjoying eating a lot and lifting heavy with the boys! It gives me such a great sense of accomplishment that I never felt when i was on a treadmill for 45 mins. I still have a long way to go and I am still trying to figure out what works best, but hopefully in another year or two I will be in a fitness magazine somewhere

    So far

    I started going to the gym back in September, and to my surprise, I love it! Also, I've lost about 20lbs and 2 sizes. About a month ago I got more serious, and have since gotten a trainer and changed my nutrition.

    Not quite, ready show anyone my legs yet, lol

    80 pounds are gone and will never be found again. People are always quick to ask me how I did it. I always tell them lifting weights...not barbie doll weights...serious heavy weights plus cardio plus proper nutrition.
