lifting weights isnt rocket science.
eat healthy, eat when hungry.5/29/17 - **The day I decided to take my life seriously and start approaching girls, and learning openers, mid conversation phase shifting, building an emotional and physical connection. I need to get more confident in general, and get rid of my anxiety. PM if you have helpful guy advice and can instruct me on the right material to read. Thanks.

I don't think there's gonna be a huge advantage to count calories until you're somewhat experienced, I'd say 6 months
I know I'm gonna do it eventually, think of it. Then you'll be 100% sure about all you eat, and if you're getting 50/30/20 CPF, then you've got the macros checked. Make sure to get lots of fruits and vegetables (in each meal) and/or multivitamins, you've got your micros checked. Then it doesn't take much more than motivation, a good workout plan and a lust for knowledge.
That's how I see it anyway. I'd rather be sure that I'm getting 50/30/20 than be at 60/20/30 and think I'm doing high protein..

I eat healthy but generally I keep a mental note in my head to check off to see what I need. I also have spreadsheets I make to see my daily macros. So during the majority of the day I just keep a mental note of how much protein carbs and cals etc. Then near the end of the day I write it all down and record macros.
blahhhhh

when most of the guys in this section say theyre counting calories it isnt because theyre trying to lose weight it usually means they are trying to put it on.
a teen trying to gain size should be eating about .75-1 gram of protein for every pound of bodyweight per day and between 2500 and 3000 calories.
most people have to either force feed themselves to get this much in on a daily basis or take weight gainers.
If you eat only when you are hungry you just arent going to gain much size. Will you still rep me when I'm no longer age:20 and aesthetic?

I count calories, and im gaining weight like a mofo, It helps you stay consistent which is what you need and really progress, Ever since ive hawked my diet ive grown like mad, It all depends on how bad you want it, counting calories is simple. Also when your cutting and trying to stay/get lean and shredded you need to count calories and macros

If I ate when I'm hungry, I'd probably get fat (depending on the type of foods I eat).
I don't really like always eating "clean", so I get fast food maybe 3 times a week, sometimes more. I get to eat a LOT less than if I were to eat clean foods, so if I ate as much fast food as I did "clean" food, I'd probably get fat.

Not digging on you but like always a calorie is a calorie no matter if its from an egg or some fries. Its the amount of macros you consume, then again fast food usually has junk in it which isn't good for your innards.
But counting is honestly not that hard to do, use excel to do it the easy way like I do.blahhhhh

don't count calories, but could figure out a good estimate on that days calorie intake if i wanted to
typically just have 4 decently sized meals with a post workout shake or choc. milk and peanuts.. something of that sort maybe mix in a snack every once in a while... gains have been great just figure out what works and stick with itThe more I eat and the heavier I train - the better my 'genetics' get.
