Up until now, I had ripptoes program in the back of my mind as a way to build good mass and strength.
Although this was probably more obvious to others, I didn't know it was something like 20% Mass and 80% Strength.
I have put on about 20 pounds in around 8 months time (on and off). And I did this in local gyms that didn't have things like squat racks and bench presses.
Anyway, just when I was thinking about getting on on 3x3-5 program, I realized it's not what I want to accomplish atm - strength > build.
Sooo, if you have around 8 months or so of experience in lifting, which program is good for putting on mass?

where did you find it's 20% mass 80% strength?
I've been working out for 7 months now and have made good progress doing http://www.scivationbooks.com/books/TriPhaseVol2.pdf
http://www.freedomfly.net/Documents/MAX-OT.pdf is also great

the guy in this video (you should watch it)
http://vidreel.com/human/NTk0MDU0/
used Max-OT and he obviously made huge gains, so it definitely works.
But yeah a friend of mine who's pretty big suggested Tri-phase, it worked really well for him and has been working for me so far. It's basically a 4-day version of Max-OT from what I can see, workouts are longer but I'd rather be in the gym 4 days than 5.
