    Part of arm opposite-of-elbow pain?

When doing bicep curls, the part of my arm opposite of the elbow (what is that called?) is red and has pain.
It just started tonight, why is this?

Like if you're looking at my arm stretched out with the forearm up and palms down, if the elbow is to the very right, this is to the very left.

    I hope that's a better description.

Ok.. if i were you.. i would stop immediately..

That is the ulnar collateral ligament or the UCL and you could possibly have a strained ligament.

When you hear about baseball players getting Tommy John surgery, this is the ligament that is repaired or replaced..

You probably need a months rest, and if the pain still continues, you should get an appointment with a local orthopedic or sports medicine physician..

Hey I just looked that up and it seems that my pain is on the "joint capsule" instead.
