It took a couple days but I took one on saturday had a headache throughout the whole day and I had another headache the next day. I hear there is Lead in opti-men also I head that ginko bilboa can cause headaches. I bought it at Vitamin Shoppe so im probably gonna return it and thinking of getting the Anavite since animal pak upset my stomach.

i seriously recommend you get anavite. I took optimen at first and i changed to anavite because optimen didnt really affect me much. anavite has really helped with lifting and all around feel.Originally Posted by Jmiller360

"1.62 mcg of lead in a daily dose of Opti-Men multivitamins. ConsumerLab.com says this amount of lead is probably not harmful"
I believe the FDA says you could safely consume atleast 5 mcg of lead a day, i highly doubt this 1.62 mcg is contributing to your headaches.- INTJ Crew -

I agree with that but is fricking lead but i heard that Ginko Bilboa can cause headaches since it increases blood flow to the brain

I have this same problem... not only with OPTIMEN but also Centrum Performance.
My doctor told me to stop taking them.... A lot of help..... Really wish i knew what it was that causes the headaches.Need some Motivation?

I have the same problem if I take more than two a day. I take 1 sometimes 2. Once I finish I am switching to Anavite.
