Yes, on the bar, Cerakote Rogue Ohio bar. The pull up bar is bare steel and it's the one that comes standard with this particular rack.

Nice set up. Can you explain what your flooring is. Looks like stall mats, but what is on the edges.

It is stall mats, I taped the edges with gorilla tape as it helps to keep the mats from separating where they meet. So far it has proven very durable at holding the edges together.

Has anyone successfully used other brand accessories on Rep Fitness racks?

I'm looking at Duke's (Rep's 3000 series) rack and while it's a 2x3, the measurements are 80mm x 50mm tubing, which is 1.97″ x 3.15″ instead of 2″x3″. Therefore their attachments will be a bit larger, and other brands of attachments will be slightly too small to fit on Rep 3000 series racks. Looks like their mid-grade is the anomaly where as Rep’s other series of racks such as the 1000 and 5000 series, which are sized in inches like others.

    https://www.tworepcave.com/3006/powe...y-master-list/

Really like the rack, just don't want to limit myself on accessories should I want to add to it.

The Chinese factories use metric steel, none the less, 80x50 is an odd size. 80mmx80mm box has become a popular size tube on racks here in the UK, but I have yet to come across a rack with 80x50 tubing over here.

Possibly Rep has chosen this size tube to limit this rack to their own accessories. Of course custom accessories are an option.

There are a few of these generic Chinese made racks available here in the UK, many are identical, just branded by different retailers.

I haven't seen that particular rack, but I've seen similar, 3"x3", 75mmx75mm 11 gauge, 3mm box section, it should be okay but the Strength Shop rack I saw had a few scruffy welds and paint blemishes. It's not cheap.

It may be worth taking a look at the rack linked below, again I haven't seen this rack in person, but it's of similar dimensions to the Strength Shop rack, but a fair bit cheaper.

If you want something of higher quality, the Rogue racks can be easily cut down to fit under a low ceiling, similarly the ATX Monster rack can also be cut, but both are going to cost around £1,000.

That's actually the lower end strength shop rack. They have two garage racks on their site.

I linked to the heavier duty one, seems to be much better looking.

Cutting racks is wayyyy above my level of diy I'm afraid. Thanks for the info though.

If you're not too worried about the possibility of a few blemishes, the rack you posted looks pretty good.

I used to have an Exigo club series rack, I believe Exigo offer a low version of this rack, 70mmx70mm, 3mm box, but you may be put off by the 75mm hole spacing, this is a very solid rack.

Another option might be to contact the likes of Watson or Power Fabrications, I believe both are prepared to customise their racks.

Seems like it would be a nightmare getting plates off the pegs and out if you have a bar on the rack. Just seems really busy to me.

Forgot to mention I'd skip the plate storage. Agreed that it would be tough working inside the rack with the pegs.

I see zero appeal to that rack.

It would be much better if it was a standard 6 post rack with weight storage on the rear, and the cable wings attached to the front with two connections instead of four.

is it just me or would that also potentially take up more space than a rack and separate machine? by the time you have the safeties attached you need a pretty good footprint to work...

Same. I'm looking at it like... **** no why would I want that?

I want it. But with 2 more uprights 30" further forward to make a power-rack. Also safety strap spotters and numbered holes. I love the idea of not having to mount plate holders to the wall for space efficiency. Mine were DIY and a lot of work cutting up some CAP plate trees. I also love the added stability of mounting it to the floor and also wall studs. That rack won't have any side to side play. Especially if your inside wall is OSB or Plywood.

If I didn't have a window exactly where the left most upright is, I'd probably call to price that.

Yeah it would be sturdy for sure. But then a 4 post that's bolted down just to the floor has 0 side to side (or any other type) of play as well. Mine may as well be a concrete wall as far as I am concerned (4 post Rogue monster lite bolted to floor only)

I only have the R3 bolt together, but it has an extra cross member and is bolted to my platform, and yes, it's pretty solid. I think that would have even less play. I also like the way the plate storage faces the front of the rack. On a 6 post, you need space between the wall and the back plate storage posts. With this design, it lets you put the back posts against the wall, and as long as there's enough clearance to rack your bar without hitting the plates against the wall, I think it would make an amazing 6 post power rack with cable stacks. Without the two added posts though, I agree, I wouldn't want it. As you can see, I don't have enough room.

    Embedded pic.

I like the wall mounted plate storage racks. It seems like a good use of bare wall space, particularly if floor space is at a premium.

Thanks and thanks. Two CAP plate trees cut basically in half and drilled. Routed out the trim boards, Mount to wall and done. Cheap! Oh, I did cut the posts to limit each to 3 plates
One of these days I'll add a lat pulldown.

Cap Barbell Power Cage 6 feet

Found this CAP power cage for $200. What I like about it is that it is 6 feet (My ceiling is just shorter than 7 feet. So this is perfect). Just to give you an idea about me and my goals -- I am a 40 year old male, 115 lbs, 5 feet 2, just starting out and want to do bench presses and squats safely. Has anybody used this?

Search on Amazon for "CAP Barbell Full Cage Power Rack" to look at the rack (Cant post links).

I haven't used the CAP rack, but there are some reviews that mention quality issues with bent parts or holes not lining up.
Where to you live, and have you checked Craigslist? I know the lower height of that cage appeals to you, but on a bolt together rack, it might not be very hard to cut a used rack down to fit your space.

Zipcode is 10562 -- I couldn't find something better than this..
Are there other six feet racks that would work?

There are open top racks, but they'll likely be 7gauge commercial units that are prohibitively expensive. There are also racks like this:
    https://newyork.craigslist.org/que/s...711876305.html

Titan makes their T2 rack at 6' tall. they also have a T3 rack in the short form, which is under 7', but I think it is 6'10", and the X3 short rack says 6'8". You could call and confirm the short rack heights actually vary that much. The T2 looks a little better than the CAP, and the T3 and X3 racks look really nice.

But, all 3 of those are a significantly more money. There will probably be a deal available on black-friday, if not sooner though, if you can wait a few weeks. You could watch craigslist during that time. Getting 4 posts cut down at a metal shop might only cost you a few bucks if you want to turn a used 7 or 8' rack into a custom height rack.

If this isn't too far: https://newyork.craigslist.org/que/s...719896426.html
    You could offer $150...
