I never admitted to 'stalking' - I was exposing a devious mind that took glee in poisoning the well of political debate.
Prasan Samtani is his real name, yes - and he's employed by a defense contractor also, yes - which means he's polluting the minds of those who have yet to form their own opinions about proxy wars and mindless bloodshed, rape and torture across the Globe.
He's not even an American dude - he doesn't give a s-h-i-t-e about your country - as soon as the US is bankrupt he'll move back to India again (which will now be rich and prosperous at the Western world's expense). He's the very embodiment of an opportunist there is. Meanwhile you'll be stuck in one of the thousand Obamavilles defending his ass on your free 'censored' wireless WiMax connection, you moron.

Ive seen Hitchens debate more than a dozen times on youtube. His brother Peter, Dinesh D'Souza (three times I believe), William Lane Craig, Alistar McGrath, Frank Turek, Al Sharpton, John Lennox, David Wolpe, Shmuley Boteach, Douglas Wilson and many others I've long forgotten.
No one ate his lunch.
Ive also seen him give many talks on youtube across the US in schools, colleges, book stores, meeting halls etc and in also in the UK. Open to Q&A at every event, no audience member ate his lunch either.
Hitchens lunch remains uneaten.

I'm a Hitchens fan.
Normally, I dislike most political commentators because they are clearly selling something and are one-sided. Hitchens has his slant on things but also has other interests and will comment on more than one side of an issue. Thus, he's the only living thinker whose books I've purchased and read, and I've read almost all.
A note on the books, some are fun reads, but most are DENSE and he enjoys referrencing other authors and thinkers and you may need an acme brain attachment to take it all in. They were all out when I attempted to order one.
Meanwhile, the dude, and I did find this funny, always has a cigarette and a scotch in his hand, even on TV. I had a little Hitchens period where I enjoyed doing the same, but that stuff just isn't good for fitness and both in consistent amounts aren't good for the lungs and throat. I prefer to work my smart guy tensions off in the gym instead of with booze.
With all that being said, we're all human and make mistakes so I hope he gets better.

I think most Christians fail to realize is that even though Hitchen's went against there being a God, God still loves him just as he loves everyone else. I, for one, am not rejoicing of any death of a human being. He's just as valuable to the kingdom of God as anyone else. I will pray for the man. Even though he may never come to know Christ, I pray he feels the love of Christ through people who follow God.

I'm not a big Hitchens fan just because I think he goes out of his way to be caustic and rude, but he is an intelligent man and I was sad to hear he has cancer. Hopefully he recovers, and recognizes the hand of God in his having done so.

"Out of damp and gloomy days, out of solitude, out of loveless words directed at us, conclusions grow up in us like fungus: one morning they are there, we know not how, and they gaze upon us, morose and gray. Woe to the thinker who is not the gardener but only the soil of the plants that grow in him."

What you fail to realise is that God only loves Hitchens's taste in shoes, his baritone voice, and his English accent. God actually dislikes his sartorial style, his views on scotch, and his haircut. He also dislikes the way he started blogging, as God prefers the old fashioned approach of paper journalism and book writing. He also isn't a big fan of his writing style, thinking it slightly tumid and circumlocutory.

Mormon, yeah. Mormons believe that faith and action in this life determine to what degree you are rewarded in the next. It is typically described as the glory of the sun, the moon, and the stars, with infinite variation. Even a man like Hitchens that fought against God his whole life is a son of God, and is loved by Him. A good parent in this life would never condemn a child to eternal punishment for disappointing him, and we don't believe God does either.
Sorry for sidetracking the thread.A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man.
