Long story short I had a blood clot in my leg several weeks ago and that is now dissolved and I am on Coumadin (blood thinner) for a bit. I realize I can't do lower body for quite some time but I have gotten so used to lifting weights it feels weird missing over 2 weeks of it. My question is, is it safe to slowly get back into lifting just for my upper body? I know pretty much anything can mess with my INR levels so that's why I'm a bit worried.

I'm on coumadin for the rest of my life as long as your inr is good your able to workout also working out doesn't change your levels its.vitamin k intake so if your on protein shakes make sure you ask and read the lables and green veggies have vitamin k. Green tea thins out your blood so stay away from that also hope this helps
