    Thumbs up Gomad... It works!

    For those of you who don't know what GOMAD is, it stands for Gallon of Milk a Day, I have been following this program for 15 days and have gained 15 pounds, with a little over a 1% gain in body fat!. I started the program weighing in at 155lbs, I am now today 170. My abs are still defined and I gained 1/2 inch in 2 weeks on my arms!. My benchpress incline and flat have gone up considerably I was doing 165lbs now im doing 195lbs for 6 reps at the end of a 4 set excersize! and my incline jumped from 155lbs to 185lbs. The most exciting part is I have successfully broken through my plateau, i was hovering around 155-160lbs for 2 months and couldn't seem to gain weight.

    For me eating 5000+ calories was near impossible, the thought of eating more than my 3000-4000 would make me want to puke. Adding the milk allowed me to add a massive 2500 calories to my diet and a whopping 130 grams of protein.

    Some people may not believe me, all I can say to those doubters is give it a try. I ONLY recommend this program to ectomorphs who have plateaued, other body types will just pound on fat.

    sorry to burst your bubble but 13 pounds roughly of muscle in 2 weeks roughly? Not
    possible

    even more so for someone who has been training for some time (not noob gains)

    as the guy said above GOFAT diet you did lol

    I can drink a gallon of water and gain 8 pounds when I'm done drinking it. Why a scale isn't a good way to judge.

    Even then, that's too much water weight. I switched gears from cutting at 1500 to bulking at 3000 within a couple days and have gained ~6lbs of weight (with likely 4-4.5 lbs of that being water weight) in 10 days. The last few days I've been just over 188. OP is going way overboard and is going to be putting on alot of fat.

    @OP,

    Aim for 500 calories above your maintenance. If you don't gain any weight for 2-3 weeks, bump it up to 750. You should expect at the most .5lbs of muscle gain a week.

    I knew by posting I would get a ton of people flaming me, i said in my original go try it out if you are skeptical. I will post before and after pictures when i am done the full 30 days. A friend of mine did gomad for 15 days and gained 12 lbs, as well there are plenty of cases if you actually research it of people gaining a pound a day. Not all of the weight is GOMAD, I cycled back onto creatine+ beta alanine. I havent seen strength gains like this since I started working out 7 months ago and its very exciting. Yea I am gaining fat and im sure at the end of the 30 days ill have a little bit of fat on me, but its welcomed. Ill be able to reach my goals easier by dirty bulking than keeping my BF low and trying to gain mass.
