EPIC CHEST/TRI DAY!
SUPPS:
PRE: Neurosurge 1 pack
INTRA: Xtend mixed w/ Recover Pro (yellow and red lulz)
POST: ON Protein 2 scoops, Con-Cret 2 scoops
WARMUP:
-Cuban Press
-Arm circles
CHEST:
*Decided to really work on bb bench today, figured warming up with dbs may help my shoulders feel ok, yep it worked!
Flat DB Bench Press:
30s x 15
35s x 12
40s x 12
45s x 12
Flat BB Bench Press:
45x10
75x10
95x10
115x10 easy peasy
125x5 afraid to jump to a plate so did this to test shoulder stability, seemed fine
135x10*tied all time rep PR! (vid)
145x4.5 oof not ready for that yet, nothing a little hard work, patience, and rc work can't fix
125x10
135x10 YEAHHHH I'M BACK BABY! (Was happy at the end, can ya tell? lulz)
TRICEPS:
CGBP:
(Not sure how heavy I should go on this, picked a wt I could do high reps with.)
95x12
95x12
95x12
RC WORK:
Int. Band Rotations (Red): 2x12
Ext. Band Rotations (Red): 2x15
Man I am farking thrilled I am flat BB benching again! I did like 7 warmup sets (I guess I'll count 115x10 as a work set cause that's pretty decent) and it works! I also did arm circles in between EVERY SINGLE SET, srs. If you have shoulderfuk try that, warmup excessively (you won't tire yourself out at light weights, I promise) and get those arms and shoulders moving around between sets to keep everything loose.
Not to mention anybody specifically (err Bea ) I'm coming for dat big bench. You may kick my ass over and over again in squat and DL but I want dat bp lol. I just checked the calc and 135x10 puts me at a max of 180, meh, I can do better than that in time. Haven't done any max work in years so I'm taking it slow, but I can tell you right now, this is gonna be BOOM - HAM EVERYWHERE!

Perhaps, woulda been a grinder for sure, was so happy when I got to 10 I had to jump up and release some ham rage of excitement (kinda like a nuclear power plant.)
Makes my holiday season to do that for them. BP > all, lol been wanting to do that for so long.
Hamofexcitement.jpg I was all jacked up on Honeybaked Ham and Neurosurge srs.
Goal progression - 200, 2 plates, destroy EB's PR.
Brohametta those arm circles are a magical stretch srs, they were on to something when they made us do these in 3rd grade gym class.
BOOM - HAM EVERYWHERE!
I feel complete now. It's very very weird my chest/shoulders/tris are not sore at all today, is dat normal? BRB don't seriously bb bench for 2 yrs, BRB tie rep PR, BRB no DOMS to be seen.
Eventful Monday is eventful. Got my BodyMedia today, yeahhhh buddy! Got frustrated trying to open it lolol so I am having a ham sammich real quick. I want to set this thing up and will start wearing it tomorrow (assuming the arm band fits ok.) I'll do Back/Bi at the gym tomorrow if I have time after work to get up there, if not I'll lift at home. Also thanks bb.com for having a legit sup sale today, lulz at their Black Friday debacle, free shaker cup my ass, I have plenty of shakers. Lol I almost lost a finger trying to pry that thing open! I got it all set up online (still have to sync it with my phone) but it's charging now.
Thanks Gobz, lol yeah it fits with not much room to spare haha. I think I'll order a large one for backup just in case. I hope it isn't so tight it'll cut off blood supply to my arm when I'm lifting and sleeping srs, and I am wondering how I'm gonna not crush this thing with my body when I sleep, hmmm...
I assume it's like wearing underwear, kinda annoying but then you're like oh this has some benefits, let's roll with it! Ham > everything else
So this online setup was a bit odd, it's measuring mainly cardio/steps, no lifting option. It is telling me I need to eat 1700 cals to lose weight lolol. I have been eating 2450/day and losing 1/2lb - 1 a week for 2 months now. I suppose once you wear it enough and it sees where you're really at with burning cals it'll recalculate. It is highly underestimating THIS 164lb woman. Guise I am gonna blow this thing's mind, 1500 steps in a day, pfft I can beat that, it thinks I can only burn 2500cals a day bahhaha just wait BodyMedia people, oh you just wait! Also surprised it did not ask me what my max DL was, that is a critical piece of information IMO, always write that on applications of any kind as well as personal info on emergency room paperwork.

Solid Benching there Hammie.
Tonight I used your arm circles to keep loose between sets . . . +1 for the tip

Nah that's reserved for shower time only lulz.
No prob guys, picked up a couple pair for the gym for $21, can't beat that!
Have crushed so many with dbs. I have one pair of Skullcandy which I at first hated cause the earbuds didn't fit but Echo told me how to switch out the rubber part, I was amazed and it worked, best earbuds I've ever had. Boom - blasting music everywhere.
OHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Thanks Bea, and glad the arm circles are helping ya out. Watch out your hams dood.
Having some issues connecting my BodyMedia to the bluetooth, not sure why this is so hard to do. It says it's linked and everything's fine and then it's not all of a sudden, all my numbers stay at 0. :/ In BodyMedia's defense I have not been kind to my iphone and some things are kinda brain damaged on it at this point. Stupid iphone - main complaint is it lets too many calls come through to me from people I don't wanna talk to. Also this armband is really really tight and I loosened it 3x, I hope that feeling goes away tomorrow.Current PRs:

^^^LOL look at the t-rex arms on those things, accurate drawing is accurate. Having a snack before gym time (lifting at home today.)
I am loving this BodyMedia thing guise, got it to sync with my phone last night after threatening my phone I would throw it in the street if it didn't cooperate. That part was a huge pain in my ass, but now I am checking this thing every few hrs, very informative! I hope this thing is accurate, if so I really need to figure out how to change the goals in it cause I think this thing is set up for a 90 yr old woman who doesn't even lift, srs. I wore it to bed last night so I have a full day so far for Tues, here are my stats so far...
(at 4:30pm today)
Cals Burned - 2245
Moderate Activity - 3hrs 8min (Lol wut? Is spreading almond butter on waffles "moderate activity" cause I haven't done anything except go to work today.)
Vigorous Activity - 0 (Yep, haven't worked out yet, hopefully squats count?)
Steps - 15,074 (No idea if that's good or bad but ok.jpg)
So that looks decent for having 6.5hrs of my day left and I haven't even lifted yet. They checked off Moderate Activity and Steps, seems low to be an entire day's "goal" so I'll have to change that. Still not used to the armband, got a shirt stuck behind my back today, still feels weird/tight and I hope it doesn't misshapen my bicep. Also the button on the device is really hard to reach being on my tricep, lulz, I look like a cat tangled in a blanket trying to get it.
Workout coming up later!Current PRs:
Bench Press: 200x1
Deads: 315x1
Back Squats: 275x1

That's a lot of steps. That's why you got the 3+ hours of activity. Do you walk a lot at work, Hammie? As far as deforming your bicep, I got a dent in my arm when I was wearing mine every day. I tried to mitigate that by putting a little higher or lower every time I put it back on. Helped with making the tan line a little less obnoxious too.

My FitBit thinks I'm the laziest person ever! Seeing as I really only walk when I'm getting up to get something or at the gym. Then my steps gets up there, but nowhere near where you are. Then again I sit on my azz all day in front a computer, so yeah.Current Log:
