ORT WEEK 6.2
(1) ORT DEADLIFT:
225 x 5
380 x 4 +10lbs
380 x 4
380 x 4
380 x 4
440 x 2 +10lbs
475 x 2 +10lbs
380 x 8 +10lbs
LET ME EXPLAIN: I was actually gonna say screw it and not workout as I spent the whole day drinking at the bar and watching the Giants curb stomp the Texans. I really didn't want to lift so I just did the ORT Deadlift. In sum, next week squat and deadlift go up 10lbs and I do the same weight on the bench for next week.

Lol at "behind the next press"
Good to see you're keeping up with the Ort, too bad about the bench fail. When you say you only gained .5 reps that's not entirely true. When you used to do singles, did you always have that kind of volume before them or did you just warm up and go straight to the heavy stuff?Planted like a tree beside the river of truth.

LET ME EXPLAIN:
- I had failed on Friday on the Ort bench at 385 x 2 (only got 1.5) so today I got my revenge! My form was sloppy though on the last rep, I could tell my ass had gotten off the bench :/. I add 10lbs to everything next week, since technically I only advance to ort week bench #7 since I had failed last week...BTW it has me doing 395 x 2 next hahhahah yea we'll see how that goes. I also did the 305 x 8 all paused, definitely felt it a lot more!
- The squats were great! Except the 335 x 8 I could tell my form was getting sloppy. My core strength isn't keeping up with my leg strength . Anyway Squats get Ort week #8 since I haven't failed on them which means no back squats. IDK what I'll be doing in place of them, maybe I'll think outside the box and do uphill sprints.
- Hey MM when you get this can you shoot me a PM?

Looks like the Ort protocol is really working for you. You've got some big numbers going up in here (funny that your squat and bench are the same max., though!)
On the bench press, maybe only bump by 5 lbs. next week? Progress is progress. It may be better to start microloading these.☠ By reading this post, you have agreed to my negative reputation terms of service.

Yep it does feel good, but in regards to 395 x 2 \/
Thanks! but my bench max and squat max aren't the same. I plugged in my bench max into the program at 405 and my squat max at 420. But IDK if the squat max is actually a pr really or not since until August I used to squat at home w/ no rack. But I think you are right, I am gonna start the microloading for the bench, I'll bump everything up 5lbs next week.
The bench started out super easy to, but it progressed very rapidly! I do like the rep scheme though.

Microloading:
I need to start using my 1.25 lb plates. Thinking of adding 2.5 pounds every time I bench. Thoughts? How long until I plateau?
And manly brah.... send me a PM with the foods you can afford to eat. I'm assuming you have a nearly unlimited budget in this respect, but I could be wrong. If it's unlimited, send me a list of your favorite foods. If you want to save me some time, list the Calories per serving with each food so I can do the calculations for you and actually get things perfect.Training, philosophy, nutrition and biomedical discussion (2.0): http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=146797403

I'll send you a P/C/F and Calorie breakdown of what I eat up until Dinner once I get home (not for another 5-6 hours). The GF usually takes care of dinner, and since I am at school late I am somewhat at her mercy. But no worries as I'll set her straight .
