Get some wrist wraps. Those are warranted with the amount of weight you're using now.

Yea dude I am going to have to. After I got done doing OHP and pp I felt like I jerked off a walrus. I trade to make "make shift" wraps with my straps which helped a little but not a lot. I need legit ones. But what's weird is that in no other pressing do I have this problem i.e. seated ohp, bench, incline, etc.

Thanks man! And yea I assume its a pr, I think the last time I did pp I just did 300 x 2. RC work is very important will add 20lbs to your bench .

I am doing them completely upright with back support. Got a crazy burn in the delts. If I wasn't feeling so out of it, i would have done leaning laterals :/ oh well!

No, I didn't lol because you did RC work; I lol'd because of what you called those exercises. They're called internal and external rotation. By the way, I am now convinced that Oly squats could be good for me:

405 is my best recent bench. Years ago I was heavier and repping 425, never got to max though. Yea you are wayy too close for comfort, I may go to the gym right now and max just to see how close you are.

That is my goal, and I am progressing nicely towards it, but I'm not sure how this equates to "have to"

Serious question, brah. Do you enjoy failing? It's just like that time when you were 100% sure that the gym receptionist was into you, but then she rejected you as soon as you asked her out.

How do you know what jerking off a Walrus feels like?

I just got these, they are SOLID. I don't need to used them just yet though. They are so heavy they sort of hurt. But that's a good thing. They sort of cut off the circulation, so you might want to get some lighter ones. It all depends on how bad your wrists hurt you last time, maybe a walrus is medium pain? I'm assuming a whale or elephant would hurt the most?

These might be better, because it lighter, so you'd be able to wear it all the time. http://www.flexcart.com/members/elit...d=114&pid=3018

These are probably too light. http://www.flexcart.com/members/elit...d=114&pid=3017

Rest up that lower back mate, you really dont want to push too hard with an issue there. Its annoying how a sore back can impact the bench press but still nice numbers all round here
