I'm talking about photographs. So, according to my logic, your analogy makes no sense.
And who would recognize her online? Or anyone online? I don't recognize you, do you recognize me? I seriously doubt it. What could anyone on this board do that simply changing your location in your profile wouldn't fix? The chances of being "recognized" are virtually nil."This," I said pleasantly, "is known as getting it on."

I wouldn't call it a 'catfight' so much as that I'm having a "the more things change, the more they stay the same" moment. It just cracks me up that no matter how many years go by, people still use the same reasons for face-blurring, showing skin (or not), using fake pictures, old pictures, whatever. Probably still be seeing it 10 years from now.

Really? I have been recognized. I actually found some miscers that go to WSU because they recognized me...
And it wasn't as much an analogy as much as a question to show you that you are completely missing the fact that showing anonymous tits is a relatively small loss of privacy compared to the possibility of **** hitting the metaphorical fan.
Besides, it is like winning the lotto. Chances are nil but people win every week. Why risk something just because the risk is low? brb, not wearing a seatbelt because the chance of getting into a car crash is relatively low.
Seriously, pls go.Judging from the covers of countless women's magazines, the two topics most interesting to women are: (1) Why men are all disgusting pigs, and (2) How to attract men.

Which still doesn't make any sense, and I'll tell you why. The people who are most likely to recognize you are local. After all, the people who recognized YOU were local to you, right? Which means they might recognize your clothes, your furniture, your hair, the tattoo on your arm, whatever.
And if **** hitting the metaphorical fan is a concern, one can get around it entirely by NOT POSTING A BRA SHOT. Or any shot that would inspire said **** hitting said fan. It's like complaining that your boss found your ******** profile with the 4598458 pictures of you slobbering drunk at the club, and decided to fire you. Actions have consequences, and no amount of face-blurring is really going to protect anyone's privacy."This," I said pleasantly, "is known as getting it on."

*laugh* It's not a bodybuilding pic. I mean, there are plenty of similar pictures on Bodyspace and it's cool. Just, like, own the picture already. Don't resort to dumb excuses as to why you just HAD to post in a lacy bra and blur your face out. Everybody knows why. Just own it.

.... I had someone try to friend my girlfriend on ******** and tell her that I was cheating on her and stuff. Retard used some memes though and I show her misc threads all of the time, so she just lol'd.
And it is a ****ing bodybuilding forum. That is like asking all of the guys to stop posting half naked pictures. Sure, some of the girls here are attention whores who post overly revealing shots of themselves... but a bra shot on a site for building better bodies? Really? Are you that insecure?Judging from the covers of countless women's magazines, the two topics most interesting to women are: (1) Why men are all disgusting pigs, and (2) How to attract men.

This.
Personally I don't care if chicks want to attention-whore on Bodyspace. I actually find a lot of their photos inspiring. Perhaps I may attention-whore in the future if my progress reaches a point where I feel compelled to do so. I have certainly done my share of attention-whoring in the (increasingly distant) past. That's why I'm saying, just call it what it is and be okay with it. And blurring your face won't keep creepers away so you may as well not bother. If creepers are that much of a concern, don't post the shot. The end."This," I said pleasantly, "is known as getting it on."

There is an existing double standard. If a chick shows off her body she is an attention whore trying to impress the guys .
But there are many guys who post their washboard abs, half naked and they are basically trying to impress the girls as well. Nothing wrong with that.
Bottomline, this is a bodybuilding site and expect some of the people who have developed impressive physiques to show them off. Hell they do that at bodybuilding events. Any girl who wants to share us guys with their nice bodies...I ain't complaining. It is what it is.Spam and eggs is an excellent source of protein..brah.
