Luckily, no coughing. Feeling much better today. Still some pain in the same arm, but much less. By the end of the day, my neck just feels really tired. All part of it I suppose.
Felling better today. Go to see doc again a week from today.
Thanks Dee. I am prepared for the ups and downs, until they happen. Spirits are still high. Family has been tolerant.
Today I did 4 sets of seated calf raises 3 sets x 100 x 15reps), 3 sets of knee bends (holding a towel wrapped around the squat rack), and 3 sets of curls (with ten lbs, cleared by the doc).
Sounds weak, but I was in my regular workout clothes, and had my regular training music was playing. It felt like a workout, but was little more than some very slow stretching moves.
Did wonders for my head.If you poke a bear in the eye, expect a bear like response.

Psychologically, this sounds like it was just what you needed. Good for you. Soon you'll be back in full force. The fevers gone, right?

Fever is gone. Had a great day at work too, which I attribute partly to getting in the gym and doing something. I actually slept pretty good too. Went to bed after the game was over (I think it was around 8:00 or so).
All around I had a very good day. I have to think it was due to me feeling like I was back, even just a little. If you poke a bear in the eye, expect a bear like response.

Thanks Steve. Today again, feeing good.
Seated calf raises
1 x 100 x 15
3 x 110 x 15
Cable curls (single arm)
3 x 10 x 10 (with each arm)
4 sets atg knee bends (with a hold at the bottom)
Lateral raises
2 x 5 x 10
Weight holding steady at 172.
Still have some tingling and weakness on the right side. Doc says this is totally normal. I am not worried, as it can take 6 months to get it back. The best thing that may come of this (beyond the neck) is everything else is healing too.
No worries.
Attitude holding steady at "super."If you poke a bear in the eye, expect a bear like response.

Great job, just be careful and safe. Better to take care of yourself now, so you can train later then to push things and lose the opportunity in the future.

Great job getting some work in today Craig. Making a lot of headway. Smart to take it very slow.
