Ok this is the deal.
I am 5'11 and about 210 lbs. I am going to be a sophmore (19 y/o) this year at a DIII school and am going to try out for the football team my Junior year. I have never played organized football but love watching it and think I would make a great player.
Right now I am on a cut to lose weight (10-15 lbs), I do not want to post pics right now but will later this summer.
I am not going to talk about how much dedication I will put in because frankly that is just words. Until next year's try outs I am going to shut up and train. I appreciate and am open to ALL comments/ suggestions/ whatever you have to say. I will try and respond to anyone that posts here.
I do not know the exact position I am leaning towards but thinking if I gain weight, etc I could be a linebacker or possibly lose weight and become a cornerback. Who knows right now, I just want to get in shape.
My stats as of now (June 24, 2010) According to 1 rep max calculator
Bench- 233
squat- 253
Deadlift- 280
Power Clean- ?
Nutrition wise I am set with food; eggs, egg whites, fat free milk, bread, nuts, natural products, oats, etc. I got that covered
Supplements: ZMA, Flax oil, Fish oil, Daily Vitamin, Myofusion banana perfection, and Chocolate peanut butter cassein.
Tomorrow (or later this morning I have leg day coming up).
I will write back on here what I did for the day including weights, cardio, nutrition, and whatever else needs to be said.
Like I said I am open to suggestions/comments about what to do if anyone has experience. And I know I should have done this stuff years ago but thats all in the past. I figure I have atleast 8 solid months of training before next year's try outs. Thanks and God Bless
No excuses/ no surrendor

sorry for delay people that never subbed lol
Lets see 6-24-10
Ill keep this simple
Ate my regular diet which is considered healthy brahs. I got in about 3,200 calories witch 225 grams of protein.
Leg day
Squats ATG 165x12, 175x12, 185x10
Leg Press 315x10 335x10 365x8
barbell hack squat 121x10 133x8 169x8
lying leg curl one leg 40x12 50x10 40x12
one leg leg extension 50x12 60x10 70x8
Seated leg curl 90x12 100x10 110x8
Standing calf mach. 120x12 130x12 140x10
thats my weights. After two meals later I decided to do some vertical increase excersizes which was my first time in a while so I eased in to it for the first day
Leg tuck Jump 5x12
lunge jumps 5x10 <----- that was my hardest
depth jumps 5x12
the rest consisted of a variation of 15 minutes of HIIT and stretching.
That was my leg day. I look forward to increasing the weights my next time!
Like I said the worst thing I ate for nutrition was the four whole eggs (fat), so I did good with that.
