I was thinking the same thing... The only reason I could see doing so is if the workouts, etc. were completely different based on a younger age, but just to be doing it, I think it's rather pointless. Why waste space when the information will be the same?
BUT... at the same time... it could be a hangout spot for those in that range to not have to go all over asking questions pertaining to their age.
BUT... then their questions wouldn't get answered by those of more experience.
BUT...
the list can continue forever. so when it comes to the end, my final question is... does it really matter? sheesh.

I fully agree with this thread.. A section 20+ or something for the age between teen and over 35. I hate even reading the teen section because of the spam/trolls and I dont really belong in the over 35 so i usually just loaf around in other sections but i think it would be an awesome addition especially to get outta the immature teen section.
Don't pray for lighter burdens but for stronger bodies.

I'm in for sure. I won't post In the teen forums because some of the responses are ridiculous. As for the person who was over 40 you don't understand it because you already have a place to post and discuss topics with people your own age. I'm a senior at Fresno State on my way to law school next year I'm not looking to chat It up with kids worried about their driving test next week or old men worried about a colonoscopy. I want to talk about bitches and beer damnit.

This I feel has been the biggest flaw in the forums. College students are far different from teens and adults. It's hard to compare myself to the average teen that has their own personal cook (mom or dad). Equally hard to compare myself to a married 45 year old who works their steady 40 hr job, goes to the gym, eats a healthy dinner, and gets 9 hours of sleep (not to mention a comfier budget). It would be nice to be able to give/take ideas from people who understand when you say you cant get more then 4 hours of sleep in a night or you cant afford $400+ in groceries a month. Also, people who understand that sometimes a night calls for some beers. Hopefully this thread is being watched by some mods.

Totally agreed...we are now in our Prime..able to handle more advanced sh*t than both beginning teens and older dudes. And personally I'd love advice on other ways to cook the chicken breasts I make every two hours holy crap... I think that a college/20's section would be a hit.

I would like to see this as well. I just signed up to the forums and noticed there was a section for 35+ year olds, teens and women. Being in my 20's, I don't feel comfortable posting in either of these places, and the rest of the forums are inclusive for people of all ages. I think having a section for people in their 20's, or 20-35, would be great, as we can relate well to one another in terms of life's experiences and how we incorporate working out into our day. I realise I'm just a new member, but as of now, I don't really know which section can act as a 'home section' for me. Given the other age categories, having a place for 20-35 year olds centred around general fitness seems like a winning idea to me.
Other than that, fantastic looking site so far!Last edited by Balsamic; 10-01-2010 at 10:16 AM.
