    8 Week Bulk Progress, Flat to Fat XD

    Went from 138 to 150 in 8 weeks. Obviously added a bit of fat early on when adjusting for proper gains but added some decent size.
    Trimming down for a few weeks, then hitting her hard again for 16 weeks.

    What do you guys think?



    (edit weight is more around 150)

    edit: 2 days later, with Macro manipulation and a 600 calorie a day deficit.

    It looks to me like 10 or 15 pounds of that gain was fat
    Weighted pullups = 195 lbs x1
    Weighted dips = 225 lbs x2
    Squat = 405 x2

    Most the fat gain was right at the beginning, first legit bulk experience had to play with cals. (and I ate alot.......alot )
    Live and learn, slower on cals next time thats all....

    lol Im sorry just being honest.. I don't know what the other posters are seeing. Unless you did a cycle you cannot put on 20 pounds in 8 weeks and even with AAS that is pushing it.. You could fully see all your abs before you started bulking, and in the after cannot see any.. Plus you can see fat gain on your chest, and your arms really don't look any bigger. I too have bulked and I got up to the weight on my stats of 160, and have now been cutting since may 20th, and in doing so have realized that a lot of that 160 was just fat gain, currently I am at 148 and still have a good 3 or 4 pounds of fat to lose before I have like no lower back fat left. so I am gonna be about 145 when its all done in like 2 weeks. It has taken me 3 years to go from 105 with like 8% bf, to 145 with about 9%.. minus the 15 of fat I have lost from cutting so far. The point I am trying to make is that for the average person, putting on 20 pounds of muscle in 8 weeks is just not remotely possible. Putting on 2 pounds of muscle in 8 weeks is like the best case scenario, unless you JUST started lifting and eating right. Once you have gone past a year it really slows down a lot, at least in my experience..

    When I started I went from 105 to 125 in about 4 or 5 months.. Everyone I knew was like holy **** dude your huge rofl But by the end of the year the gains slowed down by a ton.. it has taken me an additional 2 years to put on another 20 pounds (of basically pure muscle).. my avi picture is like 1.5 years old now too, I was around 135 - 140 in that picture..

    Much of this is true, and it's good that youre talking from your own experience.
    It's just important to keep in mind noob gains and muscle memory gains are totally different from a normal bulk. It's easy to put on a lot of size quickly through that
